Moving In

*Levi's POV*
I heard that some people were moving into the apartment below from us, I really hope that a kid my age moves in!! That would be awesome! See, I moved to Sydney a few weeks ago because I got a scholarship for a full time drama school and Mum made me move, I wanted to aswell. I really miss my best bud Jack, he was awesome, that's why I'm hoping a kid moves in, so I can meet a new friend. See, because the balconies are on top of each other, there are little gaps between the glass edge and the base, so I wrote on a note and shoved it down the gap. I saw a girl sitting on a chair, maybe she was about my age? I peer through the gap and see her open it, she runs inside and brings a pen. I see her writing something, but I can't make out the words. Then she goes back inside and grabs a selfie stick? Ohh! Ahah she uses the selfie stick to hold the scrunched up piece of paper and put it over my balcony. I see the stick and walk to the other side of the balcony to get it. The note reads "Hey, who are you?"
I write back, "Levi, I'm 13, who are you?", then I shove it back through the nook.
She hands it back with, "Lexee, I'm 13 too".
I then write back, "cool, can I come over?". I hope she says yes!!
"Sure" the last part reads, yes!!
I race into the house and tell mum where I'm going.
"I'm glad you've made a friend, have you got your phone? Make sure you're home in 2 hours!" She yells across the room
"Yep, okay mum bye!" I yell back before exiting my door and going down one level on the elevator.
I land on her level and straighten out my clothes before doing the most awkwardest knock in the world!! Damn it! Then I hear the door knob rattle and see a girl standing there.
"Hi" she says looking rather angry
"Um, hey, I- I- I know you're new here, I was just wondering if you want me to show you around a bit?" I stutter when I'm nervous, especially around girls, I mean, oh doesn't matter!
"Um... Ok, thanks I'll go tell mum" she hesitates
She then rushes off and her brown hair swooshes as she skips across the living area. She comes back with her phone.
"Ok let's go" she says before shutting the door behind her
We walk to the elevator and get off at the ground floor.
"Um, so you're Levi?" She asks
"yeah and you're Lexee?" I reply
"And you're 13" we both say at the say time
She small laughs and smiles to herself.
"I'm turning 14 tomorrow and I'm really sad because I had to leave all my friends and family to come here, and the worst part is I don't even get to spend my birthday with them!" She yells 
I see she is starting to cry a bit and I don't really know what to do.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, my birthday is tomorrow too and I had to move away from all my friends and family as well" I say back to her
"Really?" She says between sobs
I nod and scuff my shoes on the ground. I look at her in her big hazel eyes and smile, she cracks a small smile back.
"Do you need a hug?" I ask
"Yeah" she replies
Then I open my arms and she gives a hug. She presses her face into my rain jacket and I feel her soft hair on my face and the we break apart.
"Thanks" she says
"Anytime, do you want to walk around the harbour? We can get hot chocolates too, it's kinda cold" I say back
"Cool, I am a bit cold!" She folds her arms
She is wearing a pair of black leggings with a fluffy white turtle neck jumper that goes to her knees and she's still cold? She's kinda anorexic skinny, so maybe she feels the cold more?
"Here take my jacket" I peel my Parker jacket off and put it on her shoulders
"Oh thanks, are you sure you won't be too cold?" She says after snuggling into the jacket
"I'm fine" I say back, which I am
"Well, you're sweet and thanks!" She looks at me with her cute smile
We go and get hot chocolates and sit on the bench over looking the bridge.
"So, where did you come from?" I ask
"Blue Mountains, you?" She replies
"Carindale in Queensland" I say back
"Oh yeah nice" she smiles
"So why did you move?" I was curious to know
"I got a scholarship for Sydney School of Ballet out of 4,500 girls so mum made me go, you?" she answers my question
"Oh the same but for Acting school, by the way, that's really awesome" I say, I don't think she has realised that I'm famous
"Cool, so you're an actor?" She says
"Haha, yeah, have you seen Pan?" I ask her
"Um, yeah is it that new Peter Pan movie?" She confusedly asked me
"Hah, yeah, well, I am Peter Pan from that" I say to her
"Haha, yeah, no way!!" She mocks me
"No it's true!" I get my phone out and show her my Instagram
"Oh my Lordy! You are! I know a famous person! Ha!" She cheers up a bit
"You sure do! Told ya!" I put my hands up in defence
"Can we take a selfie?" She pouts and gives me cute eyes
"Of course darling!" I say in a posh voice
She gets out her iPhone 6s Plus rose gold and I put my arm around her fuzzy jumper. She puts her arm around me too and we lean in and touch heads, she takes the picture.
"Uh, can I have your number" I ask
"Yeah sure!" She replies
She gives me her number and I add it to my contacts. Her contact is 'Lexee Smith💞', but I wouldn't tell her that I did that (hearts).
