"Wake up Ry." I groan when hears a scream beside my ear. It's so loud as if want to burst my eardrum. I shot open my eyes when the voice keeps calling my name nonstop.

"Stop it, Ree. You will cause my ear to turn deaf." I'm grunted.

"Thank god... you almost make me lost my heartbeat." I feel like I'm in a strange place. Everything was white and I hear a beep sound.

"Why I was in hospital?" I said dumbfounded.

"You have a high fever and fainted for almost six days. The doctor doesn't have any answer about your condition either. Thus, we keep monitor you closely. You're also writhe in pain whomever touch your skin." Reese handed me a glass of plain water.

"I think I'm just sleep because having a headache the day we eat outside." I shrug when sips the plain water. My stomach also growls loudly, making Reese chuckle when he hand me the peeled an apple.

"And, bad news is you're fired, Ry. Sorry." I stop munching the slice an Apple. I love my workplace but I knew David had made a right decision to make sure his restaurant work smooth.

"Hmm it Okays. Tell David I'm sorry to burden him." I said flatly.

"Sure, buddy." We are fallen silent until the doctor come checking me.

I was released from hospital once the doctor still not found what is wrong with my body. Reese cooks me a lot food said it as compensate from my coma time. He is the one who treats me different from other.

"What's up, bro, you really love to daydream since getting discharged. Wanna to share it with me?" Reese ruffles my hair before stirred the hot pot.

"Sorry..." I said but he just shrugs it off.

We talk about a various topic and eat heart content. His food was really hard to resist. It's still mysterious for someone who rarely enter the kitchen to produce such heavenly taste. After finishing eating, we both got inside our own room. I feel nostalgic when step inside my own bedroom as if it was holding some precious memory.

Oddly, I can't collect any memory about it. It must be my heart misses my room too badly. Everything is in the same arrangement as I remember. I trace my finger around the smooth bed sheet. Suddenly, I feel my head as if being split by an axe. The pain was excruciating to explain I grab my head hoping the pain will lessen.

After a few minutes, the pains disappear and take that as my cue to soak in the bathtub. It really is refreshing to bath in your own bathroom. This is after all my solitude haven. I wash and clean my skin thoroughly.

As I lay on my bed my heart, start to beat in rushing flow as if it had anticipate something. Something is not right with my body. God, please don't let my body goes into unknown heat again. Indeed inside I felt I've lost something precious that make my heart gape open.

I touch my chest when I feel a familiar pain assaults my heart again. The waves of dull pain come in slow motion. As if, someone stirred my heart. I take sleeping pills to ease my heart and jump into sleep. I grunted when hear a noisy knock on my door. I walk in half asleep and open the door.

"Ry, I have an outstation work for this one week. Please keep your phone volume on high ringtone. I also had stock all the food in our kitchen. Eat all, buddy." Reese said in hurry tone. I'm confident he was hiding something from me.

"Okay, call me when you're coming back." I said and he waves me a goodbye.

I close the door and heading to wash my face. After that, I start to tidy my bedroom and settle all my laundry. I like a neat and tidy place. I got bored after three days stuck at home doing the same routine. I need to find a new work.
