Medusa is one in a set of trio called the Gorgons. They are depicted as monsters with wings and snaky hair and if you stare directly into their eyes, you turn into stone. I also read somewhere that Medusa is the only mortal one of the three and before turning into a monster, she was once a beautiful maiden.
When we think of Medusa, we think of a singular creature. But what about all those hair? They definitely deserve a strip of their own.
