Hades is my favorite god (Hephaestus comes a close second). A brother of Zeus and Poseidon, he is the God of the Underworld and he is supposed to be a brooding kind of person, a loner and rarely steps out from his palace. Which is cool.
Persephone, the Goddess of Spring, is his wife and spends two-thirds of the year (eight months) above. It is a weird set-up for husband and wife.
What I don't like about this couple is I feel like nobody likes Hades; I don't think his wife likes him much either. :( Even dark, morose gods need love, too, you know?
