Holly looked at me. Tears streaming down her face. I wasn't sure of how to deal with this. I was just sixteen after all and had never looked after a crying child before. I continued to stare at her, unsure of what to do, when suddenly i had an idea! I patted her on the shoulder. Not hard just lightly but not TOO lightly so she wouldn't notice. Ok, so it was a pretty lame attempt at comforting but its all i could do.

"Whats up?" I asked her... nicely.

Holly's bottom lip looked like it was going a mile a minute. Did everyone do this when they cried? I know i sure didn't. What was i to do? Holly had been my enemy up until now. What was she doing?

"Baaaa wa we do da...." Was what i thought she said. "memi mim mi..."

She was crying so much i had NO idea what she was saying. I looked at her bizarrely, so she berried her face in her hands.

"Look, holly if u don't stop your cryin' i can't even BEGIN to understand what you are saying!" I snapped at her, fed up with her already.

She looked up at me and chocked back another sob. My eyebrows drew closer together. I was so confused. I sighed and went to get up and leave but she clawed at me until I sat back down again. She was just looking at me and crying. No offence to her but I would prefer her kill me than endure another moment of her winging. No offence, just saying.

"...I didn't do it" She finally said, with WORDS.

Suddenly I wished she hadn't opened her mouth. Now I was even more confused and unsure of what to do then when I was in the first place. I looked at her, waiting for her to say more.

"What..?!" I said after ages of her just staring at me.

"I didn't do it" She shrugged and continued staring at the ground, tears streaming down her face.

"Didn't do what?! I have no idea what your talking about!" I shouted at her. She flinched at my raised voice and cried a little more. Yer, great so im not the best person to cry to but than again im not the best person, full stop.

"I didn't kill him, my brother." She sighed. "A zombie did."

That caught me by surprise! She didn't kill her brother? People claimed they saw her. I even saw her kill him! If this was a way of making me like her, unfortunatly for her i ain't buying for bullshit.

"I saw you" I whispered. She knew i saw her, she smirked at me when she was finished. Too me she was as human as a zombie.

She sighed. I knew she knew i didn't believe her but she was determined for me to know "her story".

"He was turning." She said loudly, my eyebrows drew together. "He had been bitten and showed me the wound. It would have been a matter of hours before he began to kill everyone. So i did what i could... to save my own skin. I killed him. I killed him so he could kill me - everyone, i mean"

Well that... made me... believe her. Thinking back, i dont remember seeing much of her brother, just her and... blood, everywhere. It does seem like a likely story, i just assumed she killed over food or her own selfish ways. I was very confused.

"Well?" She finally said after we sat in silence for ages. "Is there anything your going to say?"

Yer, how bout, i dont believe you or how bout your feeding me a bunch of crap.

"Thats horrible Molly" Chicken shit. "I didn't realise u thought of everyone and put yourself in danger like that. Your a real hero."

I was aiming for that to be very nice. To be somethingn genuine, too bad it sounded sarcastic and fake.
