Sitting in a place I just entered,
Makes me wonder.
Make a move or wait?
How many friends can I make?
How long will it take...?
I think I'll be fine by myself.
Though it'll be hard to be my true self.
Class has started, so it fell quiet.
Introductions have been stated,
Here I sat and waited.
Recess has passed,
Yet no one asked.
I won't be fine by myself I'll admit.
For having friends is a gift.
Just a simple "hello" made me jolly,
For the first time of the year it made me happy.
"Hi" as I replied, I gave a genuine smile.
Anxiety attacked me,
Will she even like me,
If I show her the real me?
Well, its worth a try.
Maybe sometimes you just have to die a lil' in the inside,
To be reborn and see the brighter side.
Lunch has passed, I had fun,
Just by talking I learned a lot.
For the old, loyal friends of mine,
I'll never forget the good times.
Let us meet again in time,
And I'll introduce you to these new friends of mine
Even if I forget the faces of my friends,
I will never forget the bonds created with them.
Memories created shall never perish,
For once carved into our souls can never be vanquished.

A/N: so yeah this is the first (obviously)....but I MIGHT edit this...IF....I'm not lazy....lol....pardon for any mistakes and correct them respectfully to this newbie here...ugh....please give me another word for this poem with the 'jolly' Part....'cause I just typed the first word that came into mah mind....sooo...is it good? Any improvements? Suggestions??? Critics? Hates? Likes??? Hello?? Please do comment cause I wanna know what ya think about this randomness... I thought of writing this cause in my current school there are just too many new students here like in our class it was a 20/20 old and new...
