Chapter 4

Chapter 4-

Before I could even say my name, the weekend was already over and it was extremely disappointing. As I got dressed, I decided to not dress in my usual jeans and a sweater. I was feeling risky today. I wore shorts and a cute T-shirt with mid calf socks. I liked it.

At school, I found Alexis and even though I felt good, she kept talking about Tyler and her ex and it didn't make me feel good at all. I left and found Danny to just chill with him, and again he was with Tyler. I decided to not say anything to him, but talk to the group. I must admit, they're a pretty cool group of people. We sat there talking and laughing until the bell rang.

In first period we had a pop quiz and all I could do was shake, my mind was everywhere and I had no idea what to do. By the time the class ended, I was on the verge of tears. I anxiously walked to second period and ignored everyone in my path. As soon as I got to class, I dropped my stuff and basically ran to the bathroom to calm myself down. I was fine. I got over it as soon as I splashed water on my face.

I went back to class and Danny used his hands to ask if I was okay. I nodded and walked to my seat. My teacher announced that we would have a sub tomorrow and all we had to do was chill. You could tell everyone was happy and it even took away some of my nerves.

The rest of the day was normal. In my classes, I made some pretty cool friends and I felt acquainted with a lot more people. At lunch, I spent half with Alexis and half with Danny and Tyler's group. My days seemed to be getting better and I still had Mac and Chris by my side.

After school, I found Alexis and we looked for our buses together. We talked for thirty seconds before Tyler came and asked to talk to Alexis in private. She told me to wait and I stayed there. They talked for two minutes before Alexis came back. I asked her what happened and she told me that Tyler asked her out. I was upset, but happy for her. Before I could congratulate her, she told me that she rejected him because she's still hung up on her ex.

I was relieved. I found Tyler and he seemed unfazed by what had just happened. In fact, he was laughing with his friends. He didn't care. How odd. Should I be concerned? I got on the bus and wondered about it all the way home.

The next morning went as it normally does. Hung out with Danny and Tyler. When second period came, the class wasn't as rowdy as I thought they'd be. I decided to sit with Ty and Dan because why not. The girl was also there. Apparently her name was Julianna. She looked even prettier up close. She was literally so happy to be around me, but I wasn't creeped out. She was sweet, still wasn't the biggest fan of her though. Siting on the opposite side of the room was pretty cool. When I was sitting down, some guy started laughing and talking to me and after a while, he sat on me!

At first it was kind of funny, but then he started moving and jumping and the more he did it, the more nauseous I got and i couldn't breathe. I started yelling at him to get off, but he wouldn't. Julianna and Danny just sat there talking to each other while Tyler was watching and trying to calm me down. When he saw I was about to faint, he pushed the guy off me and I ran to the corner of the room completely paralyzed and I couldn't breathe. Tyler walked over to me and attempted to calm me down.

He told me to go to the bathroom to wash my face since I started to cry a little bit, but the sub wouldn't let me out so I sat there with Tyler. A minute later the class ended and he grabbed my things and walked me out. Julianna was right next to me and Danny was behind. Jules tried to calm me down by telling me a funny story about her and her boyfriend. She has. A boyfriend. Wow, I feel stupid. I laughed so hard after that, but not at her joke and she thought she did something right. We all split up and I thanked her for cheering me up and I thanked Tyler for helping me.

When lunch came around everything was back to normal, and I ended up just sitting with the group because I couldn't find Alexis, but no biggie. When sitting with them, I realized Tyler had been looking at me more and it was pretty cool. My gosh he was so great, I kept learning more and more about him, but at the same time he was more and more mysterious. It was intriguing, but scary almost.
