Faking Death

Lyon and yourself stand back to back, panting in exhaustion. Everyone on Team Lamia Scale is fighting off a dark guild for a job they have taken off the board, but, like most, it is an S-rank. Sherry is doing good, hardly having any injuries, compared to the rest of them, as she swats the guild members as if they are annoying bugs, but even she is starting to get exhausted.

Toby and Yuka are protecting the front around them.

Jura is currently fighting with the guild master of the dark guild.

You growl at the enemy men, then looked at Lyon, "I have to do it...It's the only way. We're not going to die from this job!" The ice make mage's eyes widen in fear at your proclamation and he shakes his head frantically, "No, you can't use that spell! I know all of us are losing energy right now, but we can all survive together if we keep trying." A sad smile makes its way onto your face as you look at your team, wanting nothing more than to protect them.

Toby and Yuka are passed out on the ground.

Sherry is still able to physically fight, but not magically anymore, and Jura is getting injured more.

Walking up to the middle of the battlefield, you turn your head towards Lyon with a closed eye smile, "Lyon, just remember I love you. Get everyone out of here and protect them when I'm gone."

He quickly made large ice birds take his tired guild mates away from the battlefield, but he wanted to stay and help his love. Seeing that she is going to perform the spell, he holds his hand out, screaming, "(Y/N), NO!!!"

A bright aura of light surrounds you and your (e/c) eyes turn into white.

The ground beneath you begins to rumble and crack as you spread your arms out, "Explosive Light Destruction!!"

Lyon screams as he gets pulled back by Jura, weakly.

(Y/N)'s body fades into a large body of light, which explodes, causing her death, and the death of the dark guild itself.

He thrashes around in Jura's arms, shouting, "No, (Y/N), come back!! (Y/N)!!"

Everyone is crying because of the loss of their friend and guild mate.

For Lyon, he has suffered the worst because he just lost the love of his life. Her last words will forever stay in his head as he grieves for her, wishing she will come back. "(Y/N)..."

Her name comes out in a hushed whisper from his lips.

Somewhere in the Distance

Standing behind a tree in the distance, wearing a (f/c) cloak, is a feminine body, who is watching the Lamia Scale guild members grieve for her. Watching them made her sad, but she has her reasons for doing what she did.

Giving one last glance to the magic group, she runs away.
