I Won't Let Go (Book2)

Chapter 5:

~Nick's POV~
When I woke up I didn't see Sami sleep on the couch so I check the spare toon where her son was sleeping. Zach was there but Sami wasn't. I look outside and see her car and Cory's car. I feel anger go through my body. I burst into Cory's room. But all I see is Cory.
"Where's Sami?"
"She left with Adam earlier. He called her and said that he's picking her up." Cory sounded really tired.
"How late were you up?"
"Til 1:30. So can I just go back to bed for another 1 or 2."
"Yea sure."
Cory lays his head back down and passes back out. I decide to call Sami.
"Hey Nick! What's up?"
"Nothing. Just seeing where you are."
"I'm at work. Adam picked me up this morning. I told Cory to tell you."
"I asked him but I just wanted to make sure that your OK."
"I'm fine Nick. Thanks for worrying but I gotta record a do not laugh right now. Bye."
"Ok. Have fun with that. Bye."
~Adam's POV~
*After Do Not Laugh*
"Hey Sami. You had some really funny jokes but you didn't laugh at any Ross did. In fact you didn't even talk to him. What's wrong?"
"We broke up last night. I don't want to go through the whole story again. Ask Max, Ross, or Cory about it." Sami walked away after she said that. I decided to ask Ross about it. I saw that it said he's recording but this is important. I just burst into his office.
"What happened between you and Sami last night?"
"We broke up because I accused her if cheating on me."
"Ross why would Sami do that? She wouldn't, Ross."
"I know she wouldn't but I've been hurt in the past. I was just scared ok."
"You should of talked to her about it."
"I tried to but she ignored me. She's still ignoring me. She's been texting Cory a lot today. I feel like their dating."
"Ross if Sami really love a you she wouldn't date Cory or anyone else in the office."
"Yea..... I guess."
I decide to let him be. It was almost lunch time. I asked everyone if they wanted go go to the mall for lunch but Ross and Sami both said no.
~After lunch/back at the offices~
When we all got back to the offices Sami and Ross were fighting.
"At least I didn't accuse you of cheating!"
"At least I didn't fall asleep on a call with an ex!"
"At least I didn't kiss Cory!"
"How did you-"
"Cory told me what happened last night."
"It's not like it matters. We're broken up."
"I know but it fucking hurts Sami!"
I quickly run in before anything bad happens.
"What's going on here."
"Doesn't matter anymore." Ross says and walks into his office. Sami just stands there. I go up and hug her.
"It'll be ok Sami. I promise."
She let go of the hug and went into her office. I heard her singing 7 years by Lukas Graham. I'm starting to worry about Sami and Ross. They can't be left alone without trying to rip each others throats out.
~Sami's POV~
I stay in my office til its time to go home. Adam offers me a ride but I told him I'll just walk since its only a 30 minute walk. When I get back to Cory and Nick's place I walk in and go straight into my son's temporary room. I sit across the room and just look at my son sleeping.
I whisper, "I'm sorry Zach."
I get up and make sure everyone is asleep. I pack my things, get in my car, and drive away. I just drive and drive. I've only been back for a week and I've already messed everything up. When I stop at a stop light I pull out my phone.
"Hey ???? Yea I need to disappear for awhile. Thanks. I'll be there by 11 am. Yep. Bye." When I hang up the light turns green and I turn left onto the Highway. "Goodbye...." I whisper.
~Cory's POV~
I burst through the office doors. Everyone was in the main room. Everyone looked right at me.
"Sami's gone."
