Another Clan Leader

••Althea's POV••

Fortunately, he let me and Alastair stay here. And Frankenstein even let me to go to school tomorrow! Although Alastair have to work with the trio. Well, it's not a big deal. I'm sure he will enjoy his time to work than listening about the lessons.

Frankenstein glanced at me and gestured his hand
"Now, let me show you your room, shall we?"

"We shall" I replied grinning

Suddenly the bell rang. The purple-headed one, who I eventually know as Takeo walked to the front door and opened it.

"Boss!! There is someone here! I can feel their presence! It's very powerful" a boy barged in while gazing around furiously. Then, a girl with similar appearance came in and bowed to Raizel. Just like the boy, she looked for the presence's source.

I giggled and step forward so they can see me and Alastair. They startled and look at Frankenstein, eyes full of curiosity.

"Regis, Seira.. this is Althea and Alastair. Althea is a clan leader, just like Seira. And Alastair is her servant"

"Friend" I corrected

"Right... sorry"

"Whoa there.. so you're saying that this girl is a clan leader? What clan?" Regis confusedly asked blond guy

"Ethel clan.. seems like only the previous Lord and the Noblesse who knew about them. They pretended to live as human all this time"

"So they're staying here?"

"Yes. Master's command"

"Then there is no treat here. Let me introduce myself properly, my name is Seira J. Loyard, the clan leader of Loyard Clan." Seira spoke with authority

"Regis K. Landegre, descendant of Landegre Clan." Regis followed her tone, trying to maintain his manner thing

"I'm Althea Calista Ethel, the clan leader of Ethel Clan" I simply said

"And who's this guy?" Regis pointed at Alastair

"My name is Alastair. I'm her servant just like he said before" He bowed to the white haired boy and girl

"Oh come on" I rolled my eyes "Just tell them that you're my friend, would you?"

"Sorry" he said sheepishly and scratch his back

"So, you're going to school too, then?"

"Yeah, we'll start tomorrow"

"Okay... Well, are we leaving now?"

"Yes."

Both of them said goodbye to Sir Raizel and left. I follow Frankenstein to my room. Luckily, my room is in the corner of the house. I have my own contentment in loneliness. Not always, but it's nice to be alone sometimes.

"Here's your room. I'll give you your uniform tomorrow morning, okay?"

"Thank you, Frankenstein" I smiled. He's nice, no doubt Sir Raizel agreed with him to make a blood contract

"No problem. Good night uhh"

"Just call me Althea, or Hana at school" I said and closed my mouth yawning

"Okay.. see you tomorrow"

I entered the room and closed the door behind me. My new room is simple, but very comfortable. One queen sized bed, a wardrobe, and a small sofa with reading lamp on the side. The walls were painted in navy blue, my favorite color.

And my favorite thing is there's a window there. A big window. I walk closer to the window to have a better vision at outside. When I raise my head, I saw billion stars that flickering in the sky. Full moon shining brightly, leaving me amazed by the scene.

Father told me that when I was little, I lived in Lukedonia with my him and uncle. The previous lord was very nice, he let me play around him when he wasn't busy. Sometimes a clan leader came and I must cover myself as his daughter, Raskreia. Thanks to my ability, I can change my appearance to my wish.

Every night, I always gazed toward the sky at Lukedonia. Strangely, the stars seemed very bright and a lot more in there. After the previous Lord assigned my father to the human's world, I always compared the night sky at there and my old home. And now it became one of my hobbies.

Ahh, I must have stargazing too long, my back is aching. I better get ready for bed soon..

••Alastair's POV••

I've been laying on the bed for two hours and still haven't fall asleep. Man, I'm so tired. Why can't I asleep?

I hear soft snoring from the another side in the room. I really envy them. I get up and went out of the room. Maybe some warm water can help.

At the kitchen, I grabbed a cup and pour some water. I almost had a heart attack when I hear sound of book being closed. I feel something wet on my chest and realized I spilled out the water. But I decided to search the voice source and turned on the lamp.

"S- Sir Raizel?!" I shocked. He's reading an old covered book, the pages already turning to yellow. But that's not what bothering me. How did he read in the dark?!

He turned his head and gazed at me. Finally, after what felt like years he opened his mouth,

"We need to talk"

Now I really got a heart attack.
