Poem 14- Your trap

I've never wanted something more
Than to feel your warm embrace
You've left my heart exposed and sore
The hurtful words, 'I need space'

You led me on beyond belief
Now I'm nothing without you
I've had to search for new relief
It leaves me black and blue

I feel into your sticky trap
You loured me in by force
Now I fall at just a tap
And you show no remorse

Now, when, I think of you again
I cringe at the thought
You'll never be called my friend
A lesson needs to be taught
