"I've got to get out of here." Sqaishey growled. "I can't do this to him, it isn't fair."
Tears pricked at her eyes.
"So don't stop running, don't stop running now..." She choked out. It came out muffled and raspy. She struggled to swallow her sons.
"Sometimes being brave is keeping your feet on the steady ground." She sung more daringly.
"Shut up!" The unclear voice screamed at her.
"So don't stop jumping, don't stop jumping around!" Sqaishey rebelled.
"I'm warning you duck, if you sing anymore that cat of yours is a goner!" That shut her up.
"Remove the worry, nothing bad will come your way..." She wimpered.
"A quack or two...will see you through...quack if you wanna..." She started to sob.
Then a spark woke her up. Gold.
"G-Gold aura...I must be hallucinating...o-only Stampy can have a golden aura...h-he's the one in the p-prophecy..." She whispered in fear.
"I-Is he not the prophecy?!" She whispered yelled to herself after it didn't go away.
"Is it not over?!" She grew louder. The figure obviously had no idea what she was talking about.
"Ha! Of course it's not over!" The voice became a little more clear...it sounded like a girl. "You've still got...what...a day to live?" The girl chuckled evilly.
"Yeah, well at least I still have hope!" Sqaishey retaliated. The girl suddenly appeared in front of her wearing her good so her face wasn't visible.
"I still have hope!" She yelled. "I hope that I can get what I want! My want is important for my family, and their safety! I'm doing anything evil, I'm just trying to protect the people I love!" She kept growing louder. Sqaishey was surprised at her sudden outburst.
"I-"
"Save it." The girl commanded. "You can't possibly know what it feels like to constantly be on the run. When he found us again, I knew we were doomed. We ran away to stay safe. You can't possibly know how this felt!" The girl yelled frantically, seemingly holding back sobs.
"A-Actually...I do." Sqaishey whispered. "We were always moving. It wasn't because of bullies...or job arrangements...or any normal reason. But it was normal to us...the neighbors were always nice to us...but my p-parents...for personal reasons...didn't saw through their..."facade"...and were afraid that they'd stab us in the back and...we were always on the run." Sqaishey explained with her weak voice. The girl stayed quiet. Then she did the unexpected. She pulled down her hood.
"Yeah, me and Ender have a facade too." Amber stated, looking down. Sqaishey's heart flipped. "Ender promised us freedom and protection from our father. She told me to keep this mask on around you, so you wouldn't think I'm actually good. At first, I agreed because that's all we ever dreamed of...but when your boyfriend changed him, Ender came up with a plan to...how you say...guaranteed...our freedom. Again...I was all for it...until I heard your wails and screams." Amber looked down, tears starting to flood her eyes. "Once I knew that Ender was taking innocent people's lives for no reason...I wanted straight out. But she wouldn't allow it. She'd threaten me by using her dark magic that she inherited from our father.
"Me and Blossom never received those powers...we worked with what power we had...and Ender was always on top.
"Meanwhile, little did we know that she had been taking people's lives before yours, this I only found out recently. Blossom is the strongest out of all of us, even Ender, so she put up a fight against Ender when she started her turn, and stopped it for good...so she thought. She only sucked me into it...and I don't blame her for it." She started to shake and her eyes started to glow yellow. Her hands caught on fire.
"If she didn't put a bind on my powers if burn this place to the ground and take you home. I'm so sorry you have to go through this." She apologized, cutting off her power.
Sqaishey was speechless. So when Amber fell to the ground sobbing, all she could do was sing.
"Don't let your lights go down..." Sqaishey struggled, but her voice overcame. "Don't let your fire burn out..." Sqaishey sand softly.
"Cause somewhere, somebody needs a reason to believe...Why don't you rise up now? Don't be afraid to stand out...that's how the lost get found!"
Her feathers sparked again and the cell door clicked and opened.
Sqaishey went wide eyed, along with Amber.
"Go." Amber commanded. "I'll distract Ender."
"T-Thank you." Sqaishey smiled.
It was hard, but Sqaishey rose to her feet and leaned on the wall for stability.
"I'm gonna hafta be slow because I don't have a lot of energy...even talking is a chore." Sqaishey complained.
"I-It's going to be alright, okay? Just think...you'll see Stampy again." Amber tried to lighten up the situation.
Sqaishey's heart leaped when she heard his name. Her feathers sparked again and this time they stayed gold.
A creeper walked around the corner on alert of hearing something and started charging toward Sqaishey. Sqaishey shrieked and a beam of light shot from her feathers and hit the creeper. It instantly turned the creeper to a harmless bunny, which scampered away after trembling.
Sqaishey looked at her glowing feathers in astonishment and fear.
"Go!" Amber commanded as many monsterish footsteps were heard running down the hall.
Sqaishey took off running down multiple corridors and hallways hoping that she'd see daylight soon. Or moonlight depending on what time it was.
Every mob she past was instantly transfigured into something cute like a bunny or a butterfly. She ran fast even though it was more than a chore for her.
She stopped when she came to a doorway holding two familiar girls. Sqaishey quickly hid behind a wall.
"Hey sis..." Amber giggled nervously.
"What is it Amber?" Ender asked, clearly annoyed that she was bothering her.
"Um, the prisoner wanted to know if she could have some water, she's kind of thirsty." Amber rubbed the back of her neck.
Ender turned to her and eyed her up.
"Ugh, fine, I guess so as a final wish. I'll go get it." Ender groaned and walked out of the room.
Amber quickly noticed Sqaishey eavesdropping and motioned for her to run through. Then Ender screamed.
"AMBERRRRRRRRRR!" She screeched, probably letting the two worlds next to them know that they were there.
"Yes sis?" Amber squeaked as Sqaishey ran and hid. Ender ran into the room and used her magic to lift Amber off of the floor. Sqaishey tried to hold back the tears.
"Where. Is. THE PRISONER?!" Ender demanded.
"W-what?! She should be in a cell!" Amber yelled. It was for the most part believable. It worked on Ender anyways.
"You don't think I know that Amber?! You let her escape!" Ender screamed.
"N-No I didn't! I locked the door, left and came here! O-one of the mobs must've done it!" Amber retaliated.
"Those...pt....things...don't have a mind of their own! Their number one goal: Kill. That's. It. If I didn't have the powers of an Enderman, both you and me would be dead, you understand?! Those things are nothing but pure evil!" Ender snarled.
"Even me?" A small voice was heard by the doorway. Quinn. "Forgive me master, but I have feelings, and my friends do too! Don't you know that story about WHY we're evil?" Quinn growled. (😏)
"It was BECAUSE of the humans that our king is dead! We were peaceful, but YOUR KIND ruined it, okay!" The skeleton walked up to her and pointed at her.
"If you weren't my master, I would've already told MY FRIENDS to kill you." He growled and walked away, leaving a speechless Amber and Ender there.
Sqaishey took her window of opportunity and ran while Ender wasn't looking, and she was successful. She ran many more corridors hoping that she'd be tasting freedom soon.
Finally she reached the exit, and ran outside. She used her power, even though it was a major energy drainer and flew up into a cloud. She landed there and blacked out, staring at the moon as she did.
