The two went back to The Brew. Taehyung offered to get Jungkook a drink which he declined. Taehyung got himself a cup of coffee and they both sat down at a quiet corner. Jungkook stared out the icy cold window while Taehyung contemplate on starting a conversation.
A couple seconds tick by...
No words exchanged.
Seconds turn to minutes.
Silence.
The only sound audible was the classical ambience playing in the background. Jungkook looking out the window, Taehyung staring down on his cup of coffee.
One of them eventually gave up.
Jungkook: Are you going to talk or are we going to sit here till The Brew closes?
Taehyung: Oh y-yeah. I don't know how to start
Jungkook: You start after a full stop
Taehyung: I don't think I get it
Jungkook: When you complete a sentence, you end it with a full stop and begin a new one right after, correct? So yes, start after a full stop
Taehyung: There wasn't any full stop to begin with
Jungkook: Your point?
Taehyung: I've too many unsaid words
Jungkook: Use this time wisely then
Taehyung: Jungkook.. I
Jungkook: Before you start, can I know why are you eager to see me? Shouldn't you be with her?
Taehyung: ...
Jungkook: Wait. Wow. How pathetic
Jungkook got up to leave. Taehyung held his hand, looking up at him with pleading eyes.
Taehyung: Sit. Please.
Jungkook: Fine. Make it quick
Taehyung: Can we start over?
Jungkook: Who do you think I am? A kid?
Taehyung: ...
Jungkook: You don't lose someone and then suddenly ask an old flame to get back to you
Taehyung: ...
Jungkook: You think life is a game, huh?
Taehyung: ...
Jungkook: It won't be as easy as ABC or 123
Taehyung: Yes you're right
Jungkook: And now we are done
Taehyung: No
Jungkook: Pardon?
Taehyung: We are not done
Jungkook: You're just stalling me
Taehyung: Yes, now listen
Jungkook: Let's hear it
Taehyung: You're right. Life isn't easy. I can't have everything I want
Jungkook: I'm listening
Taehyung: I have to work for it. I have to put in effort
Jungkook: Uh huh and?
Taehyung: That's what I'm going to do
Jungkook: Okay and?
Taehyung: I'm not going to win you back
Jungkook: Go on
Taehyung: I'm going to remind you
Jungkook: Of?
Taehyung: Of how you fell for me
Jungkook: And?
Taehyung: If I fail, we cut ties for good
Jungkook: Sounds good
Taehyung: So now can we start over?
Jungkook: Yes you may
Taehyung: Hi, my name is Kim Taehyung and I'm very persistent
Jungkook: Hi, my name is Jeon Jungkook and I'm very hard to get
Taehyung: Nice to meet you
Jungkook got up to leave without answering.
Taehyung: No nice to meet you too?
Jungkook: Didn't I say I'm very hard to get?
Taehyung: And didn't I say I'm very persistent?
Jungkook: In that case, you'd try harder next time won't you?
Taehyung: So there'll be a next time?
Jungkook: Depends on you, Mr Persistent
Taehyung: Looks like I'm already making progress
Jungkook: Whatever. I'm off

The young lad finally left The Brew as Taehyung stared out the window eyeing on him as he walk down the street back home.
