you can't avoid a bus stop;
it's just not possible,
but earphones work nicely when you're trying to ignore things
at the bus stop.
the boy came to the bus stop again.
i didn't acknowledge him
as he didn't want to be acknowledged;
so i minded my own business
and kept my eyes down at my phone always.
my bus rolled up empty,
placing my oyster down on the reader,
it beeped once
and i went to stand next to the exiting doors.
he was there staring at the wheels,
but i caught his attention as i waved;
he just stared and looked away.
i sighed as the bus took off.
