it had taken over again,

my eyes stung,

but they would go numb over time.

my concentration was waning

and all i wanted to do was go home.

the bus stop was empty,

my eyes were closed

as i leaned my head against the window.

i still couldn't do it,

a voice popped up,

"...urm..."

i ignored it, like i did the others.

gosh, my eyes were numb;

i rubbed them and looked up,

it was him.

"hi." he voice was calming.

he took a seat next to me

in the bus shelter.

"i'm sorry about the other day."

i grunted.

"i wasn-,"

"i don't really care." i say

and it stuns him to silence.

"sorry, i'm bothering you."

"not really, you're just making excuses that don't need to be made."

"...oh,"

"what's your name?" i asked

with a small sealed smile.

"jacob,"
