Star slept soundly in the couple's bed, curled up around the plush bunny she would cuddle when Mark wasn't around. Chica dozed peacefully in the patch of sunlight that streaked across the empty half of her owner's bed, giving both of them enough room to be comfortable.

Mark had gone to fulfil another wish for the make a wish foundation, but he was due home today. Star had been willing herself to sleep for as long as possible, meaning his return would come quicker.

She missed him. She'd grown used to his company over the many months they had spent together, and the house felt very empty without him around. Chica was missing him too, that was clear. She wouldn't leave Star's side, following the Brit around with a sad look on her face.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," a deep voice purred in Star's ear, shaking her from her slumber.

"Mark..?" She groaned softly, turning to see her fiancé hovering over her, his newly dyed hair flopping over his face.

"I like it red," she murmured, smiling at him from tired eyes as her fingers buried themselves in the colourful floof. "It suits you, brings out your eyes."

Mark batted his eyelashes, pouting slightly as he posed in a way that mocked most social media selfies. Star laughed, pulling the YouTuber in for a hug and kissing his forehead.

"You're such a doof," she giggled as he pulled her against him, lifting her up into a sitting position which allowed their golden dog to nose her way into their embrace.

"I know, isn't it awesome?" Mark said as he ignored the whines of the canine on his shoulder. "I'm not gonna say hello to you if you're making that noise."

With a flash of her big brown eyes, Chica got her way, melting Mark instantly. "I'm sorry! Hello puppy!" He cooed, fussing the golden as he released his hold on Star and buried his face in Chica's soft fur.

Star couldn't help but laugh, a smile taking over her face at the pair. Stifling a yawn, the Brit stretched out her back and ran her hand through her tousled brown hair.

"You're back early," she commented, watching Mark's eyes pop up over Chica's head to get a look at his fiancée.

"I'm really not," he chuckled, "it's noon. My flight got in at eleven."

"Oh, oops, my bad."

"Why are you still in bed anyway?"

"I was, um... You know how time seems to pass faster when you're asleep? Yeah..."

Mark laughed, "You missed me that much?"

The Brit's cheeks flared in slight embarrassment, reaching out to playfully shove her YouTuber. "Shush you."

"Well, fancy doing something?"

"You're not tired from the trip?" Star said, cocking her head like Chica.

"I've been sat on a plane for an hour, I'm a rather restless. I want to get up and walk around and do stuff!" Mark explained, emphasising his words with hand movements as he bounced restlessly on the bed beside the bemused Brit.

"What did you have in mind?"

"So, welcome to the first official wedding vlog," Star said to the camera in her outstretched hand. She was sat in the passenger seat of Mark's car as they headed towards downtown LA. Chica had been dropped off with Matt and Ryan so she could play with Lego for the afternoon.

"Someone," Star continued, nodding her head in Mark's direction, "just got back from a trip and is feeling restless. So we decided to make a start on wedding stuff. And I thought I'd have to badger him about it for weeks..."

"Probably badgers..." Mark said in his worst impression of an Irish accent to date.

"What?" He asked, clocking the bemused expression on the Brit's face. "I watched some of Jack's videos whilst you were in the shower, ok?"

Star laughed, Mark's somewhat sheepish attempt at defending himself warmed her heart, and the fact he'd paired it with his puppy dog eyes made it that bit better.

The pair continued to vlog their short trip around downtown LA, pausing in secluded areas to avoid Vlogging in crowds, trying where possible to record in stores. All things considered, it was a fairly successful trip. Star returned home with a bag full of fabric swatches to start working on a colour scheme; and Mark returned with a new video game for his Xbox.

As soon as they returned home, Star bee-lined for the large pink folder that she had dubbed "the wedding file".  Chica padded over to her water bowl, whilst Mark edged towards his console.

"Not so fast mister!" Star said, walking past him with her folder, linking her arm with the YouTuber's so she could drag him over to the kitchen table. "You can game later, we haven't actually sat down and talked through any wedding ideas yet. I'm grabbing you now before your YouTube fame drags you away again!"

Allowing himself to be pulled along behind her, Mark felt a slight twinge in his heart. Despite her giggles and smile, his Brit's words struck a chord. 'Before your YouTube fame drags you away again.'

He knew she didn't mean it in a cruel, mean or selfish way, but Mark couldn't help but dwell on it. YouTube and all the things that came from it did limit his time with her. Not that he was complaining, he loved doing YouTube for a living, but the back of his mind was saying that maybe he wasn't spending enough time with the girl he was about to marry.

"Mark?" Star said, watching him stare off blankly from her seat at the table, "You ok there sweetie?"

"Huh? Wha-? Y-yeah, I'm fine!"

Shaking himself from his daze, he took the seat opposite the Brit, smiling widely in an attempt to prove he was, in fact, fine.

"Where shall we start?"
