A/N: I'm baaack! Yay! I got a pretty good idea for the graduation and kind of just built off of it. I really hope you guys like it. Writing it made me want to go to one, except for the fact that it doesn't exist. What a shame. Also, have you seen the Lodestar cover? I posted it above. I love it so much! Sophie looks beautiful, but I have to say, Fitz doesn't look like Fitz. Maybe it's just the distortion of the force field. Anyway, here's the long awaited chapter!

"How does an Elvin graduation work?" Sophie curiously asked as Edaline fussed with her hair. Fitz's and Keefe's graduation would be the first one she had ever been to and she didn't know what to expect.

Edaline twisted a few strands of Sophie's hair together as she replied, "It's mostly a display of the students' talents," she explained. "Each student will have choreographed something based on their talents and will show it off to create a miraculous event. Fitz, for example, might use telekinesis to lift around banners or even people for the event. Keefe might communicate with animals and give them instructions for the choreography."

"Wow," Sophie marveled. "That's... Amazing."

"It is, isn't it?" Edaline agreed. "And that'll be you in two years!" She gave Sophie a sad smile, one that a mother may give to her daughter in the human world before she left to college or got married. It felt like Sophie was doing both.

Trying to forget about her sinking heart at the thought, Sophie focused her eyes on the mirror. Edaline had done an intricate, yet simple, updo. Strands of her hair were twisted around thin golden ribbons that were only visible if she turned her head to a certain angle based on the light. The strands were clipped together at the back with a clip of emerald green stones and diamond or gold trimming. A bit of her hair hung forward framing her face. "It's beautiful," she whispered. "You don't think it's too much? Maybe I should just..."

Edaline shook her head. "Absolutely not. I'm sure other girls will be wearing outfits even grander than this, not to mention that two of your close friends are graduating. One of which you will be marrying."

"Crazy, huh?" Sophie murmured, standing up and letting her gown billow out around her. Just like her clip, it was themed with gold and emerald green. Glistening gold strands were woven around sparkling green jewels at her waist. Although there weren't many jewels, it was pretty heavy. "Shouldn't I be saving this for my wedding or something?"

"No I've already got your wedding dress picked out." Edaline laughed as Sophie's eyes widened. "I'm kidding. But it won't be green, trust me on that."

Sophie tilted her head to the side, careful not to let the intricate hairdo fall. "Is it white?"

Edaline gave her a knowing smile. "All I'm going to say about that is- Don't assume anything. Who knows how everything will end up?"

*~*~*~*

The first thing Sophie noticed was the music, which was pretty unusual considering elves didn't really deal with music. But under further inspection, she realized it was dwarven music. And... Another sound. Was that human music?

"Looks like someone took your and Dex's recommendations," a familiar voice said behind her. She didn't have to turn around to know it was Biana.

Sophie raised her eyebrows. "But the only person I told that to was-" she started, confused. A thought struck her. "Did you tell Magnate Leto?"

Biana smiled. "Well someone had to tell him. Besides, I was so tired of listening to dwarven music at pretty much every big event... It was time for a change."

"Fair enough," Sophie agreed laughing. "But where'd you get the songs?"

"I think we've been to the human world enough to score a few top hits," Dex reminded, walking up to them. "Wow I really do sound like a human."
