Parrots
Perched atop
the highest tower,
sit the parrots
down they glower.
Down upon
unknowing man,
they say the only
words they can:
"My name is
Polly, David, Fey.
Please doný hurt me.
Please stay away."
Memories
they have but few.
The words they hold don't
mean they knew.
In the home
where they'd lied for years,
there was now blood
and piling fears.
They broke out
and now they have
the crowd of people,
trusting fate.
