"You want some ice cream kid ?" I had asked my sister we had ordered some pizza since my mom was working late tonight. "Two scoops." She said and I gave her that girl you know face "only tonight." I said scooping it for her and sliding it across the counter for her to put toppings on .
"When are you happy to leave Saturday ?" She said kind of sad "a little I like it there ." I said putting my cookie dough in the bowl on the vanilla
"Do you like it more there with the bomb digs than with me ." She said her voice cracking at the end "what ? No babe no." I moved the ice cream and hugged her "I'm always going to be your sister , Devon Kevin and Daniel have nothing to do with it ." I said "but you like Devin." She said snuffling harder " yes Devin and I like each other, were still young and but it's not like we can run off and get married me starting my career this early ensures a better future for you , I will always be able to answer your call and talk to you, I can help with your homework on FaceTime too." I said rubbing her back " mommy will be with you and I will probably be with momma Shana but you won't ever be alone ." "I'm still going to miss you ." She said sniffling "I'll miss you too your the ONLY sister I have ill be thinking about you all the time. And if Gods willing and I go on tour this summer I can get you a souvenir from every state how about that? "
"A build a bear ?"
"Yes baby build a bear." I said as we both laughed "I love you ." "Love you too."
We went into the living room and watched Alice in Wonderland (cartoon) and ate the ice cream, and then the door bell rang for the pizza
"Hello" I said it was a tall guy light skinned
Guy with braces and curly hair "large, pepperoni and bacon ?" He said smiling (brace faces though😍) I smiled back and signed the receipt writing the tip. "Mind if I come in and share ?" He said trying to joke cockily , never mind he's not cute anymore 🙄 "nope girls night." I said trying to still be nice "ohh so your a lesbian I can watch ?" He said smirking "no ass wipe it's my little sister I have a boyfriend creep, now get your bummy ass off my property before I use a welder to attach your damn face to my mailbox .!" I said slamming the door
I walked back into the kitchen picking plates out of the cabinet
"Are you okay ? " Zion said "yes the pizza boy was a douche it's all good." I said setting the alarm again.
We finished Alice and wonderland and over half the box of pizza and put in Cinderella. My eyes started to droop and I looked over to see Zion sleeping and I got up to put her in her bed. Once I got upstairs, I put her in bed and turned on her hanging purple light. I put her under the covers and kissed her cheek, cracking the door on the way out
