I'm currently at the hospital with August. I've been visiting him mostly everyday, atleast when i'm free. He just got surgery 2 days ago and he's been sleeping for the most part.

" Ti, come er' " he blurted making me turn towards him.

" For what?"

" Can you fix ma pillow?" He then asked. I sighed and walked over to him doing as he said. The little things he makes me do is so annoying, but if it makes him happy I'm down.

As I tried to walk away I felt his hand grip my wrist. " Wass wrong?"

" nothing's wrong Aug." I giggled softly.

" I can tell you ain't feelin right now".
He said staring me down. I looked away and gnawed on my bottom lip.

Also I've been distant from Jay. He returned back to staying at his place and I haven't been bothering him. Space is what I need and he respects that. My mom thinks I'm overreacting but after all I've been through its just what I need.

" Is it Jaden?" He mumbled.

I looked back down at him and hesitated to shake my head. He sighed and played around with my fingers.

" It's just that I can't seem to enjoy the space. We need it but, it's like I can't seem to meet all the self goals that I made for myself when he agreed to leave."

August nodded his head and smiled.
" You always ova' thinkin' things. Trust meh things will get betta'."

I smirked and kissed his forehead. My phone rang and I dug in my pocket to see the caller.

The screen read "Mom Dukes" and I answered it.

" Hello, yes mom." I greeted.

" Where are you?" She blurted.

I blew my breathe " Mom I'm fine ok!"

" Honey, you haven't returned home since 12 o'clock last night and you need to take you medicine."

I rolled my eyes and began to pack up my things. " I'm a grown woman mom. I can handle myself...ill be home in a few". I stated bouts to hang up.

" Ok, I love you."

" I love you too." I ended the call putting my phone away in my purse.
I threw out my wrappers and put the remote next to August.

" I guess I'll see you tomorrow?!" He murmured.

" Yea probably."

He kissed my hand and we did our handshake dap up that we made up.
" Call me layta" he said.

I nodded my head and walked to the door opening it and exiting the room.
