(recap: Tiana & Jaden are getting ready for dinner with August and his date Tatyana (she works with Tiana)

Tiana POV

It's 7 o clock and I just finished making dinner, August and Tatyana should be on their way at least.
To be honest I'm really happy for this, it's like a son bringing home his girlfriend for the first time expect I already know her, but you get the point. If August is truly serious about settling down than I believe this will be good for him, but if not I don't want him to hurt her heart she's only innocent in this.

" Jay, can you please help set the table?" I asked calling him from the living room. I heard his foot steps travel towards the kitchen, and he entered with a sour face just as I expected. " You still got that attitude?" I asked putting one hand on my hip.

He clenched his jaw" I'm a grown man, if I wanna be mad let me." He barked.

I took a deep and grabbed the plates handing them to him" I don't have time for your attitude,  August and Tatyana will be over here any minute. If you wanna walk around mad at the world that's you!" With that I walked off.

He shook his head" So we just gone act like what happened at the mall never happened?"

" What happened at the mall Jay? I understand Brandon is the father of the baby that was supposed to be yours, but that's not a reason to hate him. He is caught up with Xyana just like you were, would you want to be dealing with her shit just because y'all had something like a baby keeping communication? Xyana has done some real fucked up shit to this family and I think it's better if we left her in the past." I explained.

" Okay, but ion like the fact Brandon was tryna hang with you-"

" Babe, you have woman friends and I have man friends. We know where we are with each other, your my fiancé and I'm yours, we don't have time to be trying to mess around."

His face lightened up, I walked around the island and hoped on my toes to peck his check. I like the feeling of us making up, it makes me feel warm Inside like everything is okay again. " You love me?" He asked holding my waist.

" Always & forever" I confirmed.

We sat up the table and I even lighted some candles.
I usually only do this on special occasion for Jay and I but since it's kinda like a double date then we might as well bring the candles out. After, cleaning up the kitchen a little bit I went upstairs to freshen up and changed into something a little elegant: a dress. It wasn't too fancy but it wasn't too casual.

" Sandals or heels?" I asked Jay.

He stroked his chin" You should wear the flats that wrap around you ankle those'll look good." He suggested. I swear I love him, he knows me so well.
I put on the flats Jay suggested and fixed my hair as well, I decided that we were only in the house and I didn't need any makeup.

The door bell rung and I rushed to go answer it. I looked through the peep whole then unlocked the door. August and Tatyana showed up looking sorta formal as they should have. " Hey guys, i'm glad you two could make it."  I greeted.

I reached out and hugged August, then did the same to Tatyana. " Girl I love your house, I only dream of something this nice" she cooed.

" Awe thank you, I worked real hard to get to where I am, so can you." I told her.

I then guided them into the kitchen and poured them each a glass of wine. " Sorry, Jay should be down in a minute... umm, yea the bathrooms down the hall and make a right if you need it. After dinner, I would be happy to give you a tour." I said to Tatyana.
