Day 13: Favourite house call

A call that really stands out in my mind is when I passenger car derailed and then an oil container caught fire right outside of a warehouse.

I believe that all of 51 worked really hard to get everything under control. Not only did they have to set up triage for the amount of people coming from the passenger cars but they also had to prevent the gas leak from exploding and destroying the warehouse and injuring even more people.

On top of all that there were also two people in the back of the warehouse that they barely got out in time. I just loved how they all had to work as a team to save as many people as possible and prevent further damage.

I think what really topped it off for me though is that they had no help from other firehouses as all of the others in the area were out on other calls. It truly did prove that 51 works well together even when they don't have enough manpower and the odds are against them.
