Liam's P.O.V
I walk downstairs for some breakfast. That good for nothing omega better have my breakfast ready because I am not in a good mood today and he better not piss me off, but who am I kidding? Just seeing his face makes my blood boil.
"-part of your scheme Sophia, I won't be. You either go and break it off with him right now and we can live happily together, or you lose me." Is that Brandon's voice? I pressed myself to the wall so that I can continue listening in.
"Baby think about it, it's a great plan. Only mates can get pregnant. The witch will cast a spell that will make him believe that I'm his mate, we try for kids and I can't have any because he's not my mate and we strike when he's most vulnerable and you become Alpha and I get my rightful title of Luna. He will go crazy, Alphas are obsessed with having an heir that he will be devastated." Sophia said.
"I am not doing that, you crazy bitch! Liam is my friend and I know where my loyalties lie. With my Alpha. You are not going to this this to him Sophia, I won't allow you." He hissed.
"Okay fine." I could hear the pout in her voice. "Wait, what if I get pregnant with your pup and then we tri-" Sophia started but Brandon cut her off.
"You really are crazy, aren't you? I love you Sophia, I really do, but I'm not gonna get in trouble because my mate is a selfish power hungry bastard who believes that the world owes her. When you get over this stupid plan, come find me, but for now I'm not accepting you." I heard Brandon walk off, but he said something else before completely leaving her. "And if you still haven't come to your senses by this weekend after he finds his mate, I will reject you."
I stood there for a second, trying to let what I have just heard sink in. Sophia has been playing me all this time, she doesn't even like me, she's only power hungry. So I was correct when I thought she was cheating on me but now I know for sure. I shook my head and walked into the kitchen, luckily breakfast was served but there was no one in there. Or so I thought.
"Honey please tell me. I've been pleading with you to tell me your mate's name." I heard my mother's desperate voice say. "Tell me who it is so I can at least tell you if they will reject you or not." Who is she talking to? I couldn't see them because they were in the pantry.
"No mommy, I know he will reject me." Mommy? Wait! That voice belongs to the omega. Why is he calling my mother mommy? What the hell is going on?
"Oh honey, are you that terrified? You haven't called me mommy in a while, a long while." Mum said. I am so confused right now. I hear noise behind me and I turn around to see Greg and Brandon coming in, so I motioned for them to keep it quiet.
"I know he's going to reject me, mommy. He doesn't like me, no one does. Not even my own brother likes me." I can hear the heartbreak I'm his voice and the others looked at me with wide eyes.
"Okay, can you at least tell Denise?" Mom asked and from the sigh that escaped her lips, I think it's safe to say he denied. "Baby, you can't go through this alone."
"I have Mystic, I'm not alone." Wait... Who is Mystic and why did my wolf get excited after hearing that name? And what is this feeling I'm getting?
"Honey, Mystic can only do so much." Who the hell is Mystic. I looked at Greg since the omega is his brother, maybe he will know who Mystic is. He saw my questioning look I gave him and he just shrugged.
"Can I stay home today? And can we watch movies and cuddle with Denise?" Movies and cuddles? The omega is not supposed to have any form of entertainment. Ooooh dad is gonna have a field day with this.
