He nodded, the Amulet of Horus dangling from his neck.
I rose then walked away. The Amulet of Anubis burned against my skin.
It was rare to see a kid wearing an Amulet-unless they were Eyes. And that's what I was. An Eye of Anubis. An outlaw. A traitor. A fool. An idiot.
I had been so stupid.
