a cold winter day and the sun turns to moon
the wind blows and the rain falls down
a box lays abandoned on the side of the road
maybe someone will notice soon
six tails wagging because they don't know they've been forgotten
because they refuse to forget
you leave them while they think you'll come back
and yet we say that we care for them
those lies just led to the downfall of a life
