  10 years Later
June 17,1899...
It was quiet and empty through the mansion. One move and they can hear it echo in the mansion. Everyone was in their own little world,doing things they would normally do. Subaru was outside in the colorful garden. Laito was in the game room,playing pool by himself. Kanato was in his room,playing with Teddy. Ayato was taking a nap in the living room. Reiji was in the library reading. As for the eldest Sakamaki,he was in his room ,laying on his bed staring at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep,all he was thinking about was what will be happening tomorrow night. "Has it been 10 years already?"Shu wonders. Shu couldn't believe it and neither can his brothers. So much has happen that he wish didn't happen. Shu sighs. This day was killing him. It was long and dull. He turns to his side and sees the letter from his father. He stares at it and wonders if he should read it or not.
He blinks and mumbles,"What a pain." He grabs the letter and sits up. He tears open the letter and skims through it. It read:
"Dear Sons,
It has been 10 years since the Castell Family has passed. Such a tragic should always be remembered. Since it has been 10 years,I would like to throw a mask ball as a memorial for them . This ball shall be a gift for them. I would like to throw the ball at the mansion. It is an honor to them and to those who adored their family. Please notify your brothers of this event. You are also required to be there. You and your brothers must represent us during this event. This event is very important to me.Many noble families will be there. The ball will start at 7 pm. So please get the mansion ready and presentable.

Shu closes his eyes and leans back against the bed. He sighs in irritation. "How troublesome..."he mumbles. He stands up and walks out of his room,going to tell his brothers the important news.
The Next Day
June 18,1899
9:45p.m...
Classical music echo through out the ballroom. The sound of the piano and violin mix in with the sound of people chatting. The night was windy and dark. The wide elegant ballroom was filled with many nobles. It was a grand ball. Chandeliers hung straight in a line of eight. The ballroom sparkles. Shu leans on the wall in front of the ballroom,observing everyone. Many nobles were gossiping. Some were dancing. Other were eating. The ballroom was crowded with nobles. They all smile,faking their kindness towards each other. The Sakamaki brothers were separated. Subaru was hiding in the shadows away from the nobles. Laito was flirting with some of the ladies. Some were even married. Ayato and Kanato was eating some of the food that was presented on the table. Reiji talks to other nobles. "When will this end."Shu wonders.
Many nobles passed by Shu smiling and waving. He nods his head back and greets them. Out of all the task,Reiji chosen him to deal with greeting people. He sighs in boredom. He just wants to take the black tuxedo off and go to bed,listening to music. Luckily,this was a mask ball,many of the nobles did not know each other by their faces unless they are told and someone notices who they are. However,of course,the brother's had to deal with Karl's job. He was supposed to be here,but had "other jobs to do". Shu rests his eyes.
"Greetings Shu. It has been a while. You have grown up quite a bit."a husky voice said. Shu opens his blue eyes and sees a mid 40's male soldier smiling at him. "Ah...Nobu. Hello,it has indeed been a while. I hope you have a great night."Shu replies back. Nobu nods and walks into the ballroom. After Nobu leaves, Shu closes the door to the ballroom."It seems everyone is here...I think."Shu thought. Shu strides past the middle of the ballroom,knowing that soon everyone will be dancing. The music changes as Laito starts to play a solo piano act. Everyone starts to go to the middle of the room and starts to dance. The music was calm and peaceful. The melody was beautiful. Shu scans to the room and sees that mostly everyone was dancing.
Suddenly,he stops as he sees a young woman leaning back on the wall,watching the crowd. He observes every detail about her. She seemed different from the rest of the nobles. She had a mysterious vibe. He starts to wonder if he had greeted her. Her body was slim. Her skin was a smooth olive. Her long jet black curled hair hug around her diamond shape face. Her eyes were a piercing icy blue. Her eyelashes were long. Her shiny dark red lips were full and luscious. Her nose was sort of button like. Her eyebrows were arch and fine Her neck was elegant without any neck bites or marks. Her chest was well-defined. Not too big nor not too perky. Her long arms cross over her chest. Her hands was small and slender. Her long nails was painted black. Her legs were nice and long. She wore a The dress hugs around her curves. She wore black heels. Her mask was lacy and shaped like a butterfly.
Shu strides slowly towards her,causally curious about her. She looks at up at him with no emotion. They stare into each other's eyes,curious on what will happen next.
He held out his hand and sligthly bow down. "Would you care for a dance?"he ask. She raise an eyebrow at him and says nothing. She hesitates but decided to take his hand. He takes her to the middle of the ballroom and they begin to dance. Her arms circled around his neck as he caresses her waist. They stay silent. Shu stares at her ,wondering who this girl is. She avoided eye contact with him and look at their feet.
"What is your name?"Shu ask. She looks at him and says nothing. She simply just shrugs.He look at her,confused and curious. "How old are you?"he ask.
"16."she finally says. His eyes widen as she finally spoke. Her voice was sultry and velvet like.
"So you do speak?"he smirks. She scoffs and narrows her eyes at him.
"Of course I do. I just didn't feel like speaking to you before."she says. He chuckles and looks at her amused. He looks at her from toe to head,searching for something but he didn't know what. She cleared her throat.
"Is there any reason why you are looking at me like that?"she questions.
He shook his head and mumbles,"Sorry..."
"You remind me of someone."he answers. She stays silent and nods her head. "She is not going to ask who?"shu questions to himself
The song started to slow down and ends. They back away from each other and bow. Shu continues to stare at her,wanting to not let her go. "Would you like to dance again?"Shu asks. She smirks at him and says nothing. He waits for her to answer. She puts her arms around his neck to pull him closer. She tiptoes to his ear and whispers something to him. As she whispers in his ear,his eyes widen in shock. Many thoughts ran through his mind.Many emotions surge through his body. She lets him go and smiles at him,wickedly. His breathing becomes uneven and faster. He open his mouth and was about to grab her hand ,but a noble passed by and she disappears. He squeezes pass by the nobles and looks around,searching for her. She was gone. Shu stand in the middle of the ballroom,staring at the place she was once before. Her words repeating over and over again.
"One day...my dear prince."
