Jacob's POV:
It has been three hours since Bella's water had broke and now as I held her hand as the doctor told her to push I could hear the sound of wolves. "How much longer? " I growled at the doctor. "Hours, the child isn't even crowning yet. " he replied. "That isn't good enough. " I said softly before I picked up Bella off the kitchen table I had laid her on an hour ago and started to run for the car, I wasn't sure if the pack knew what Bella carried but I couldn't risk it, not her, not my family.
I laid Bella in the backseat of my car and drove as fast as it would let me with one hand behind the passenger seat holding Bella's hand and didn't slow down until I hit the border. where my family was guaranteed safety from the pack and as I thought and drove I felt a shift.
