Marshall's P.O.V

Marshall's Dream

"You monster! Get away from me!"

"F-fionna..!"

Blood is dripping from my mouth.

B-but.. whose blood..?

"You killed her.. Go back to Hell where you belong and never come back!"

Beside Fionna is a lifeless cat.

"W-what?!?! I didn't do that I swear!"

"You liar! You're a vampire, of course you lie to get your victims."

"N-no... NOOO!!!!!!!!!!"

DREAM END

"NOOOO!!!!!!!!"

"Marshall, calm down!"

I looked to my side.

F-fionna..!

Like a nightmare, the Fionna in my dreams haunted me with her words repeating on and on in my head.

"You monster! You killed her!"

I shivered in fear in the thought of it actually happening.

"Marshall, are you feeling okay now?" Fionna asked.

My mind returned to reality.

"What happened to me?"

"You have a fever. Also the strawberry juice was past its expiration date. Sorry 'bout that."

It was expired? No wonder my body rejected it.

"Where's Cake..?"

"She went to see her boyfriend."

I tried to get out of the bed.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"I'm cooking dinner, what else?"

"No. Dinner's on me. Stay in bed."

"But-"

"No buts. Be a good little boy and rest while I make dinner."

"...fine."

I slept for a few minutes and then Fionna woke me up for dinner.

"Here you go. Fionna's special porridge!"

I stared at it then stared at her.

"What? It's edible. It's not as bad as it looks."

"...thank you."

This is the first time that someone took care of me besides the time that Cynthia helped me... I feel ha..ppy?

"Marshall, do you there are more humans out there?"

"Probably. Maybe they're hiding."

It's either they're all dead or some survived and hid. It's because of us of course...

"I can't wait to see more humans."
