The clock read 1:00am. I packed my stuff in my book bag. My mom was sleeping peacefully while I snuck out to find my Dad. Aw man this is insane! What am I doing?! No! Snap out of it Sarada! You have to find out who you are!
I hopped out my window and sprinted down the street. Thoughts overflowed in my mind. I couldn't let that stop me! Nothing will stop-UHMPH
I fell on the floor as my I collided with another body. I held my head and looked up. "Sarada?" Boruto... I glared at him. "Boruto." He smiled nervously and rubbed his neck. "Uh...Where are you going?"
"N-Nowhere." I said trying to keep my cool. I fixed my glasses confidently... Or as confident as I could pretend to be. "Ok...Well you can go now. Sorry to bother." I sighed and made my way. "You know my Dad once told me a story about his best friend who became a rogue ninja."
I stopped in my tracks and stood still and silent. "Yeah...He told me that he was really smart when they were young. Although he was very stubborn sometimes he had some kindness in him, even though his clan was murdered when he was a kid. They became frenemies. Until he chose to betray the village and leave. My Dad hasn't given up to bring him back after he made a promise to your Mom."
My eyes widened and I slowly turned around to meet his face. "You see Sarada...Where I'm going with this is...I don't want you to end up like your dad. I know you're going to look for him. You've been acting nervous around everyone. I'm your comrade you can trust m-"
"NO! You don't get it! You have a mom a dad a sister EVERYTHING! How could you possibly understand what it feels like?!" Boruto clutches his fist. "You're right. I don't understand. But I do understand that you're better than this! You need to think this out! Your mom needs you!"
"At this point I don't even know if she is my real mom!" Boruto expression softened. Tears stung in my eyes. I fell to the floor and grabbed the dirt beneath me. "You just don't get it..." I weeped on the floor, ignoring Boruto's presence.
Boruto went to my side and rubbed my back. I slapped his hand away and stood up slowly. "Come on Sarada. I'll take you home." I shook him away. "The only home I want to go to is with my dad! He's the only person who hasn't lied to me. I only trust him..."
"I'm coming with you then." I looked back at him. "What? Your out of your mind!" Boruto gave a small smile. "Then we both are." I looked away from him, averting his eyes. "I'm coming. Or else I'll tell my Dad." I smiled. "I hate you. You know that?"
"Yeah I kinda figured that out." He said rubbing his temple.

"Sarada can we take a break?! I'm TIRED!" I rolled my eyes. "You whine to much. We're almost there Mr. Selfish." Boruto stopped and looked at me. "Mr. Selfish? Really? I'm not even close to selfish." I huffed. "Pff! Yeah right. Did your Mommy tell you that?" Red covered his face trying to hide his embarrassment. "N-No....My Dad did..."
I burst out laughing leaving a bashful Boruto rub the ground with his shoe. "Let's just go already!" I smirked. "Whatever you say, Selfish." Boruto pouted and headed straight towards a tree. He yelped and grabbed his nose. "AGH! MY NOSE!" I chuckled and pulled out my medical kit.
I sat next to him. "Let me see." He hesitated but gave in. Blood trickled down his nose so I told him to lay down. He stared at me while I was treating his nose. I pretended not to see him.
"Like what you see?" Boruto blushed and averted his eyes. "W-What?! EW! No way!" I smiled and finished treating him. "There. Next time try to knock yourself out." Boruto stood up and mocked me pretending I didn't see.
"Well it's almost dark so we should camp out here." I placed a hand on my hip. "Ok. Seems good. I'll make a fire and you can go find some food." Boruto pouted. "Eeehh?! Why me?!"
"Because I said so!" Boruto showed off his bottom lip. "Fine...Bossy." I clenched my fist. "What did you call me?!" He ran off. "N-Nothing!" I smiled confidently and turned went to find some wood.

An hour passed and Boruto's came back with his clones and fish. "We're back!" They yelled in unison. I stood up and patted my hands on my lap. "Good. I just finished the fire. Also I set up the tent." Boruto's nose twitched. "Show-off much?"
I crossed my arms against my chest. "Anyways did you bring some water?" Boruto snapped his fingers and a clone brought him the bucket of water. "Check." I nodded. "Alright that's good. Well just hand me the fish and-AH!"
The clones all dumped the fish on her and popped away. Sarada's face turned red in anger. "YOU'RE DEAD BORUTO!" Boruto made his way to the other side of the camp, far away from her. She threw the fish and grabbed some sticks to cook them with.
After a while Boruto also grabbed a stick and cooked the fish over the core. "Are you still mad?" Sarada stayed quiet and turned away from him. Boruto sighed. "Smores would be nice right now." Sarada slowly turned to Boruto, annoyed by his comment. "Really?"
"What? I like smores." Sarada huffed. "Baka Brain.." She murmured softly to herself. They sat in silence cooking the fish. The only noise they heard was the crackling of the fire and the animals of the forest. "Well...I'll uh, go to bed now." Boruto said standing up and heading to the tent.
Once he got there he noticed it was made for one person. "Uh Sarada?" He called out to her, coming out of the tent and scratching his head. "Where do you sleep?"
"I'll sleep out here." She responded bluntly. "You can sleep in here if you want." She shook her head. "No it's fine. I'm not tired anyways." Boruto whistled softly. "Uh well then Ok. Oyasumi- Gozaimasu."
"Same to you..." And with that the messy hair blonde headed to bed.
