The 12 year old Uzumaki awoke to a beautiful morning. A beautiful day, birds chipping, a foot in his mouth....A FOOT IN HIS MOUTH? Boruto looked over and saw a peaceful sleeping Sarada. "Mmmmph...Swavada! Mmmmph!" Sarada heard the mumbling and fluttered her eyes open. She placed her glasses on her face and stumbling back. "Ow! You almost ripped my lips off before I got my first kiss."
Sarada glared at him and left the tent. Boruto followed behind her. "Um...Care to explain why you were sleeping in the tent. With me!" Sarada folded her arms across her chest and tapped her foot on the floor. "Well?"
"I was scared Ok! I thought I heard a bear so I ran in the tent and fell asleep BY ACCIDENT!" Boruto facepalmed himself. "So you had your foot in my mouth because of a bear." Sarada fixed her glasses. "That is correct." Boruto shook his head from side to side and looked around. "Well, there actually was a bear here because all the fish is gone and the fire went out."
"I'm sorry Ok! I just don't like being alone...that's all." Boruto grabbed his backpack. "Well there is no point of stating here any longer. We should head to the Sand Village now and arrive in about half an hour." Sarada nodded and grabbed her backpack as well.

About half an hour passed and they arrived at the Sand village. "So where to next?" Sarada placed a finger on her cheek. "We should ask people if they have any knowing of Orochimaru's hideout." Boruto furrowed his eyebrow. "Do you think they have some books at the library?"
Sarada looked blankly at Boruto. "Do you actually think a library will have stuff about that?" Boruto shrugged his shoulders. "It wouldn't hurt to try, right?"
"Oh alright!" They went to the library and searched for some books about Orochimaru's hideout. "I found Something!" Boruto said excitedly. Sarada rushed over to him. "Look. It says here that it's located straight after this bridge."
"The Tenchi Bridge." Boruto eyes widened. "My dad told me a story about this once! He fought Orochimaru on this bridge... But I heard it got destroyed."
"Well there has to be a way to get across it. It wouldn't hurt to try right." Sarada said mocking him. Boruto have a smirk. "Let's do this!"

After an hour Sarada and Boruto arrived at the bridge. The bridge was completely destroyed. Sarada turned around and ran. "Hey Sarada! You can't just give up now!" Boruto huffed and sat on the ground throwing rocks off the cliff. Moments later Sarada appeared running in full speed and jumped off the cliff.
Boruto jumped up. "SARADA!" Boruto summoned his shadow clones and the held hands vertically, forming a ladder. "Sarada grab my hand!" Sarada quickly grabbed his hand and he pulled her up.
They were both panting. After Boruto caught his breath he laid on the floor. "What is wrong with you?! You could've died!" Sarada burst out laughing. "You should've seen the look on your face!" Boruto frowned. "What are you talking about?!"
"I thought if I could focus all of my chakra on my feet that it would thrust me upwards and eventually land on the other side." Boruto ran his hand through his hair. "Your sick." Sarada chuckled. "So Ive been told."
Sarada stood up and fixed her glasses. "On the bright side. You gave me an idea." Boruto raised a brow. "And that is?"
"Well since you used your shadow clones to form a ladder, you could use it to form a bridge to get across." Boruto crossed his arms. "Well I could've thought of that!" Sarada placed her hands on her hips and looked over where the bridge stood once Before. "Well. Lets get to it." Boruto summoned his clones once again and they successfully made it across the bridge.
"Sarada's your gonna have to hurry up! My clones can't hold that long." Sarada nodded and sprinted quickly and made it across. "Come on Boruto. Hurry!" Boruto flipped up and climbed on top of his clones. His clones were already started to disappear. Sarada held her hand out. "Boruto hurry!"
Boruto stretched his hand out to Sarada and the last clone popped. Boruto didn't make it in time and couldn't catch Sarada's hand. Boruto went plummeting down the cliff. "BORUTOOOO!"
