Chapter 113: Their Peaceful Night

It was Friday again. The blanket was extremely warm, so warm that no one wanted to wake up. Bai Luo Yin opened his still sleepy eyes before they fell upon the window sill. The sky was already bright, yet it seemed to be leaden with overcast. This kind of weather would cause anyone to question the time.

He wanted to reach over, grab his phone and look at it, but the blankets were tucked in so tight around his body that his arm just slightly missed it. No wonder he was so relaxed.

"5:20 AM, it's still early."

Bai Luo Yin grumbled. He wanted to shut his eyes and get some more sleep, but suddenly they inadvertently fell upon the layer of white fluff on the window's frame.

It's snowing?

Bai Luo Yin forced his eyes wide open and carefully looked outside, indeed it was snowing. It was the first snowfall since winter started and it looked to be a huge one. Although, snow created an inconvenience, but to see it fall from the sky and transforming the world into a white paradise would nevertheless make one excited.

Bai Luo Yin sat up and felt around the bed sheets beside him, it was already cool.

How long has Gu Hai been gone?

Driving slowly was necessary when it snowed since the road would be slippery, so without a doubt, he woke up earlier than the usual.

Gu Hai had just stopped the car near the entrance of the apartment, when he saw Bai Luo Yin's shadow standing in the snow. A thin layer of snow had already gathered atop his head and shoulder.

"Why are you out? It's so cold......"

Gu Hai's hand brushed against Bai Luo Yin's icycheeks. They were so cold that even his heart ached a bit from the touch of it.

"Quickly go inside! If you come out, you've should at least know not to wear so little!"

Gu Hai's thick eyebrows knitted together as if to lecture a child, cursing and pretending to kick Bai Luo Yin's rear end. Bai Luo Yin was wearing a long sweater, the especially thick kind, so kicking him was the same as kicking a blanket; there were no feelings whatsoever, contrariwise, it was like shaking off snowflakes.

The road looked so slippery that Bai Luo Yin was afraid Gu Hai might have gotten into a car accident. But, once he saw him returned, his heart steadied and relieved took control.
