So I went to a concert yesterday & it was great. All of the money (concert money) was going to be donated to this organization called Hope For The Day. They're an organization that basically gives a voice to those who don't speak up.
The bands performing would constantly talk about overcoming depression & suicide. And there was a specific speech that a band called Ghost Key gave that really touched me.
The singer was basically saying how our voices are so powerful and it's important to speak up about things because our voice can change so many things. That's just how powerful it is.
& it brought tears to my eyes when he was speaking because what he was saying were the words that I needed to hear a few years ago and are the words that others need to hear.
So please speak up about things that are happening and affecting your life. I didn't do it and to this day I regret it.
