"Karen!" Eliza says shushing her friend, resting her hand on Karen's knee reassuringly "I'm sure she's not allowed to give those gifts and I'm sure Liam's gift won't be that bad"
"And what if it is?"
"Then we will guide him through it,"
Eliza says looking down at the baby wrapped up in a blanket in Karen's arms, smiling at how adorable he is.
Karen sighs looking out the window
"I just want what's best for hi-"
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"She's here Eliza!" Karen says running to the nearest hiding spot for her to hide Liam, coming towards a closet she yanks it open, gently resting small Liam in a basket and cracks the door closed enough for him to breathe.
"Now Karen you can't hide him forever! "
"I can try, now go get the door before she zaps her way in!" Karen shouts at her, Eliza running towards the door and opens it, revealing the beautiful witch that gives everyone there gifts.
Karen comes up behind Eliza giving the witch a warming smile, "Hello, is there something you need?" Karen said tilting her head to the side
"I know you have a baby in the closet Ms. Payne, I'm a witch, and I didn't become one last night, now if you would let me in so I can do my job I have other babies to get to here!" She says pushing the two women out the way before making her way towards the closet, before opening it and picking up the baby from the basket he was set in, looking at him in awe
"What shall we give this beautiful child today, what's his name again?"
"Liam" Karen responds
"Ah Liam," The witch starts to think but then Liam starts to cry
"Shh, I'm trying to think" the witch says but Liam continues to cry
"Aha! I've got it. I give this child the gift of obedience!" She says smiling and snapping her finger and Liam stops crying immediately.
"Now go to sleep" The witch says and Liam closes his eyes "Now wake up" and he wakes up again. She smiles happily as the two watch in horror.
"Isn't it a great gift!" she says proud of her work
"No! who would want to be told what to do all the time take it back!" Karen shouts
"Um no sorry I have a no refund policy, and if your gonna be ungrateful I could always turn him into a squirrel."
"A squirrel?" Eliza repeats
"Wait no, obedience is a lovely gift"
"Besides you should thank me," the witch starts "I've just given you the perfect child" She says holding the baby up, as Liam smiles
