I was packed up and ready to go to RAW. This week was probably one of my favorites in a long time, though I didn't realize that would change. Let me tell you what happened...
We got on the plane, I was sitting next to Jon and we were being ridiculous. Us being brother and sister, we started being the weirdest people ever, making so many people laugh. When we landed, we all got off and grabbed our bags. Tyler had went and stayed with my friend Alanna again, since Alanna was visiting her parents this week anyways. I'm not sure if it was just me, but Colby and I were kind of drifting. Yeah, we had only met a week ago, but he said we would date and I don't even know now. I kind of just brushed it off. Everyone knew I hated Aj, and we kind of just kept it quiet.
I went to my room and unpacked my things, I then got dressed into my ring gear and ready to practice in the ring with one of my new best friends, Kaitlyn. We shared a lot in common, we are big, we both hate Aj, we have good humor, we both hate Aj, we have a thing for badasses, OH! And we both hate Aj. I found Kaitlyn warming up in the ring. I walked down the isle, and got in.
"Hey, how are you feeling today?" I asked her as we both just did some warm up excercises.
"Better thanks! Just ready to get in the ring and kick some ass!" I laughed at her answer and we started doing partner warmups. We put our feet together in front of us touching the bottoms and grabbed each others wrist, pulling one way and then the other. We then got an official to come down and be a referee for us to practice. We had did two rounds, one with her winning and the last one with me winning. We then decided to go out to lunch,
"So... The you and Colby thing, what's going on with that?" I shrugged,
"We were fine, and then he kind of just stopped talking to me, as if I was nothing. I'd walk up to Jon and he'd walk away. I don't know... I'm kind of just going to drop it. I mean... If he wants to be that way, then fine. Let him be that way." She nodded,
"I totally agree with you. I mean, I don't know what kind of guy does that to a girl, and you guys slept in the same bed for what, three nights? Yeah. Just no. " I nodded and then we just talked about random things,
"I kind of want to have a party, like a masquerade." I said smiling and Kaitlyn looked at me,
"With mystery dates for everyone?" She said seductively and I laughed.
"I'm serious though! That would be cool too. I could probably talk to Vince about doing it this week." With this, Kaitlyn was so happy,
"Can I help?" I smiled,
"Uhm? Duh?" She seemed so happy. We ate our food and then her smile dropped,
"Is something wrong?" I asked and she kind of nodded,
"Well yeah... I kinda like Jon..." I smiled at this very wide,
"Oh my gosh! You like my brother? I am so hooking you guys up." She laughed,
"You'd do that?" I nodded,
"Hell yeah?! I'll talk to Vince, then i'll sit in the middle of the ring and explain to everyone what's going to happen. The girls will go get all their stuff, dress, mask, shoes, jewelry. We'll then take a photo of each girl and write down the color of their dress at the bottom of the photo. The guys can come up and take a photo, and then go find a suit to match. Each dress has to be a different color. The girls will get a full white mask and will decorate it to match the dress. When the guy goes to pick up the photo, he also takes the mask with it. That way, when they all get into the dance hall. We line them up, boys one side, girls on the other. Then match colors. The girls will not know who their mystery man is, until they remove the masks.
"Sounds like a great idea Ash! One problem, wouldn't the girls know by the hair? I think that's the only problem. Capes? Oh my gosh, that would be freaking hilarious, but amazing!" I laughed,
"Yeah... We could do capes, why not? No, I'm kidding uhm.. Hats, like... Normal black rimmed hats, or white... Or whatever color..." I said and she smiled,
"Perfect, Masks and hats. Oh gosh I'm so excited, I hope Vince allows it to happen." I nodded and with that we left and went back to the stadium.
I had a match against Aj tonight, I hadn't seen my brother or the rest of them since I had left to go unpack. So who knows where they are! I got in gorilla and then my music hit. I came out putting my hand on my hip and doing a little head turn before walking down to the ring and back flipping into it. Kaitlyn then came out to be at ringside for me tonight. She came into the ring with me and just looked at me.
The crowd went wild, and then The Shield's music hit, but instead it was for Aj, and not for me. I looked over and seen Colby had his arm wrapped around Aj's waist and I just looked away. I can't believe it. Kaitlyn looked at them and then looked at me. Kaitlyn was handed a microphone and The Shield's music stopped as they were halfway down the steps.
"Wow Ashley, I can't believe your own brother turned his back on you for this crazy, little, girl." Kaitlyn looked at me and I nodded grabbing a microphone,
"Right Kaitlyn? It's good to know, my own brother would do something, oh. So. Stupid." I dropped the mic and Kaitlyn looked at them disgusted. Aj's face was all contorted after Kaitlyn had called her a crazy, little girl. Jon looked at me and I just shook my head and rolled my eyes. Kaitlyn brought the microphone up to her lips and said something,
"Don't worry, I'll always be here. The saddest part, they had a choice of who to choose from." I know Kaitlyn was taking my side in this, and this definitely wasn't part of the script. I now looked at Jon who just looked away. Kaitlyn handed me a microphone,
"Oh well, who needs them? They want her? Let them. I could honestly care less." I spat at them and dropped my microphone as Aj started towards me. We just started punching each other and they just rung the bell, because they knew there would be no pulling me off. In the end, I had won the match with a spear. Kaitlyn got in and raised my arm up high. I smirked and wiped the blood off my lip as I got out and walked back up the ramp, ignoring The Shield.
We got backstage and I turned to Kaitlyn,
"I really cannot believe my brother really had a choice and they chose her over me. Oh well, I'll live. " I then went to Vince's office to talk about the masquerade ball. When I had finish he allowed it and I gathered everyone up in the stadium. Kaitlyn and I stood in the middle of the ring.
"So Ashley and I have been talking and we got Vince to let us do.... A masquerade ball." Kaitlyn said and the crowd started talking and smiling,
"Here are the details, Girls, you will go out and buy your stuff today and tomorrow." I said,
"That goes for dress, shoes, jewelry and masks." Kaitlyn finished.
"Kaitlyn and I are going to provide the men with white or black brimmed hats, and a full white mask that will be decorated by the girls to match their dress. Guys, you will come to either Kaitlyn or I and tell us which girl you would like to take. You will be given a photo of the girl, along with a white or black hat, and the mask that was decorated by that girl. You guys will then have to go find a tie that matches the mask you were given or the color wrote at the bottom of the picture." I said and Kaitlyn nodded before talking,
"At the ball itself, we will put guys on one side, girls on the other. One at a time we will have the girls walk over to their guy by mask and color. There will be no same colors." Everyone nodded and Wade raised his hand.
"Yes Wade?"
"Yeah okay, so if two guys liked a girl and they both asked to take her. What happens there." My eyes widen and I turned to Kaitlyn whispering,
"Shit, I didn't think of that..." Kaitlyn then saved my ass,
"Well hopefully, that is not going to be a problem, because there is more than enough Diva's in here that are beautiful. I do want to say though, take John and Nikki for instance, don't ask for Nikki, because obviously she's going to go with John since they are dating, I mean come on." Everyone laughed.
"We will pass out invitations tomorrow with place and time, and ladies you guys have a limo waiting to take you shopping today and tomorrow. Pictures will be available in two days to come get, guys. " We then got out of the ring and all the girls got into the limo to go shopping,
"What a great idea!" Nattie said, and I smiled.
"Thank you!" I looked over and saw Aj and Layla away from everyone. I guess they were going to go...
Nattie, Kaitlyn and I decided we would go as a group to find our dresses and stuff. We also decided we would go to the masquerade together.
By the time we finished it was already getting late, and the limo had already left so we called a cab. I got a short, white dress with black engravings on the top part and some white around the breast area. Then there's like a veil kinda thing on the dress that is see through and flows down to your feet, my mask is a silver/goldish color with black and white engravings on it and a moon and star. Nattie's dress was silver, along with her mask, and Kaitlyn's dress was gold and black with a gold mask. We also bought the white and black brimmed hats and the white masks the girls would have to decorate.
Kaitlyn had told me she would settle the things for the guys and that I wouldn't have to worry. So I knew she would get everyone's picture and masks. I had already did mine and Kaitlyn did hers. I then packed up my bag to go home since I didn't need to be here for SmackDown. I took my first flight home and sighed. I got to my house and found Tyler and Alanna waiting for me.
"Hey guys!" I said kind of happy and Alanna looked at me seriously,
"So... Colby and you are done I see, you got into a fight with Jon... I mean what's going on?" I looked down,
"I think i'm going to move out, get my own place, I'm twenty-two. I can't live with my brother forever, as for Colby, I don't even know. It's just done." She nodded and said goodbye before I went upstairs to pack up my stuff.
