While everyone is talking and dancing, Charlie Brown heads outside with Linus to talk about the dance, they both sit on the steps outside the gym.
Charlie Brown:"Linus...who do you think Weill ask me to dance? Who would possibly want to dance with me? I'm charlie Brown"
Linus:"I'm sure one of the girls in there, will ask you to dance?"
Charlie Brown:"easy for you to day Linus, you've got sally to dance with"
Linus:"well it's not like I have a choice"
Charlie Brown:"I guess so"
Linus:"come on, let's go inside, I'm sure a girl will ask you!"
They both head inside and start to talk to sally, Lucy and Schroeder.
Schroeder:"hey Charlie Brown."
Charlie Brown:"hey Schroeder, I'm surprised your not playing your little piano"
Lucy:"yeah Schroeder?"
Schroeder:"well, I needed a break, and after all this is a "dance".
Sally:"that reminds me, let's dance Linus!"
Linus:"no,no,no,no!"
Sally drags Linus to the centre of the floor, holds his hands and starts to dance with him.
Charlie Brown:"aren't you two going to dance together out there?"
Schroeder:"uhhh....."
Charlie Brown:"I saw you kiss her!"
Schroeder:"Good grief......"
Lucy:"yeah Schroeder, you kissed me!"
Schroeder:"I can't believe this, fine Lucy! Let's get this over with!"
Charlie Brown:"have fun you two"
Schroeder:"yeah...fun...."
Lucy and Schroeder begin dancing beside Sally and Linus, both Pairs hand in hand.
Charlie Brown:"I can't believe this..."
Peppermint Patty:"hey chuck!"
Marcy:"hey sir!"
Charlie Brown:"oh,hey peppermint patty n Marcy, you got a dance partner?"
Marcy:"no sir"
Peppermint Patty:"Ohh chuck, you want to dance with me don't you?"
Charlie Brown:"Uhhhh"
Peppermint Patty:" you sly dog!"
They both start dancing As Well.
Sally:"Say Linus?"
Linus:"yes Sally?"
Sally:"do you like me?"
Linus:"in what way?"
Sally:" like love!"
Linus:"............."
Sally:"Aww your so cute Linus!"
Linus:"good grief sally......"
Schroeder:"I'd much rather be playing Beethoven than dancing with you"
Lucy:"oh nonsense Schroeder! You love me really, don't you?"
Schroeder:"....I...uh...."
Lucy:"you know..one day me and you will be married! That would be great!"
Schroeder:"if we were, you would be a bossy wife!"
Lucy:"bossy but beautiful!"
Schroeder:"oh boy..."
Lucy:"you have pretty eyes"
Schroeder:"(blushing) thank you?"
Lucy:"what about me?"
Schroeder:" you have a nice voice?"
Lucy:"I already knew that!"
Schroeder:"geez........"
After the winter dance, it's 9:00 and everyone is going home to bed.
