Jaxx, Phriz, Eli, and Engelbart slowly crept across the trenches of the Chaos lines as they kept an eye out for trouble and as they entered the trench, they watched some cultist begin to worship a disgusting idol nearby and as they passed, Engelbert saw that the cultist had set up some nearby machinegun nests of Heavy bolters as he wished he could sabotage them at the moment but they currently wee going to plan out what was here first before they did anything.

As Jaxx looked around, he muttered to Eli, "You keep that gun out and ready for trouble, alright?"

Eli nodded as they continued along and as they went over the trench, they saw a large cannon had been set up as they soon walked past it.

As they walked along, it wasn't long before they began to see what they would soon be facing in the coming battle.

Alec, Logan, and Jonathan had stopped once again in the ruins of an old building when Alec heard something and he took up his Storm Bolter as he brought up his halberd and as Logan and Jonathan jumped up from their spots, their bolters scanned the area when Logan saw something and he then pointed at it.

It was just a small cat, looking around the small ruins with its orange pelt and green eyes, as it saw them and then scampered off as they all slowly relaxed.

"I can't wait till this war is over." said Logan as he sat down, putting his bolter next to his chainsword.

"Well, if we can retake the Maglev cannon on our own, it should come to an end far more quickly than if we let the enemy continue to have it." said Alec as he kept looking around. "But it would certainly help if we had support in this fight."

"But a better question is how far are we even from the front? I assume we are miles away but it would certainly be helpful if we had a map or something." said Jonathan.

They all were silent as Jonathan then said, "But I have faith in the Emperor that he will get us through this in one piece."

Alec and Logan nodded as the fire in between them continued to flicker as the flames whipped around with the wind.

And that's when an idea hit Logan.

"Wait a minute, what if we could get support and a map?" asked Logan.

Alec and Jonathan looked at one another before Alec said, "Go on."

"If I remember correctly, there should be a vox station nearby to here and if it still works, we can use it to get some people over here, maybe..." said Logan.

Alec thought about this, as did Jonathan, as Alec then said, "It would be risking more of the Imperiums lives to get here... and daemons are here as well."

"Any help is better than no help in my opinion." said Logan.

"That is true... and besides, we may need some help when we meet heavier resistance." said Jonathan.

Alec thought about this as the night was still quiet and as they all kept quiet for him and as Alec looked up towards the skies, he wished he could see Titan or Terra from the heavens to give him some strength.

But then he looked at the two Grey marines as he said, "Okay, lets do this."

The morning dawn slowly crawled into the skies once again as the Imperial lines once again prepared for another bloody day of battle. Haydraxx stretched as he looked from his hideout in the remains of a bunker the back of it completely blown-out from a explosion, he brought up his magnoculars as he looked around No Mans Land.
