Tatia DeLane sat in between Embry and Quil, Embry played with her hands as Tatia and Quil watched Jacob who was practically throwing a party with himself over the fact that The Cullen's had left

"Why are you so happy?" Tatia asked confused Quil and Embry tensed at her questioned knowing she wouldn't like the answer

"Because now I actually have a shot with Bella." Jacob said excitedly Tatia rolled his eyes at his answer she'd grown tired of Jacob who constantly talked about Bella

"I feel bad for Bella, Edward is gorgeous and that was her boyfriend you don't really think she just going to jump into your arms, right?" Tatia questioned looking at Jacob, but than turned to Embry who always seemed to keep her calm

Tatia and Embry were quite the pair best friends the closest from their group maybe it was because Embry did everything to get Tatia's attention, if Tatia and Jacob were on a date and Embry was in some sort of trouble Tatia would ditch Jacob for Embry in a heartbeat, Embry is her best friend, she'd do anything for him and he'd do anything for him.

Tatia wasn't an idiot she knew Jacob didn't feel the same for her didn't mean it didn't hurt to hear it from Jacob

"She's going to be heartbroken for a while Jacob, so understand she's not going to fly right into your arms." Tatia said walking away Embry following after her

"You okay?" Embry asked concerned Tatia nodded not looking at him

"Blue eyes you know you don't have to lie." Embry said with a soft smirk

Tatia rolled her eyes at her best friend "Tatia one day your going to find someone who loves you more than anything someone who would take a bullet for someone who's going to make you completely forget about Jacob." Embry said to her

Tatia looked at her best friend "What have you done to the Embry I love?" Tatia joked Embry rolled his eyes pulling Tatia into a hug she quickly wrapped her arms around his waist

"I love you Em." Tatia spoke softly she clung onto Embry "I love you to Ta." Embry said honestly, Embry looked at Tatia with so much love and adoration so clear in his eyes it was unbelievable how Tatia didn't see the way he stared at her.

Tatia didn't know that after a few months things were going to change and it would be the best thing that ever happened or the worst thing to ever happen.
