Spike x Mutant! Lizard! Reader

Spike jumps to rooftop from rooftop, bored out of his mind. The guys were busy training and all of the mutanimals had split apart to do "their own thing".
Translation: to hang out with their girlfriends. Spike was the only one without a girl and it was times like this that he felt utterly alone.
His head snaps around when he hears footsteps in front of him. Their he sees a mutant lizard. She has (h/l) , (h/c) hair and is wearing a (f/c) shirt and pants.
In other words, she was gorgeous. "Well..I'll be.." She says, looking at him in shock, probably never having seen another being like her self before.

All alone she was living
In a world without an end or
beginning

"Hi." Spike smiles. The lizard girl returns the gesture. "Hi." She says softly.

Baby girl was living life for the feeling
But I don't mind
I don't mind

"I'm Spike." "Y/N." The two mutants eventually sit down and talk. Spike having told her about his life, asked her about hers.
"I've been hiding mostly." She says. "I escaped from the kkrang a month ago. I've had to steal food to survive.." She admits. Spike gazes at her sadly. This poor beautiful creature being in the hands of the kkrang made him shudder.

And all the wrongs she committed
She was numb and so co- dependent
But I don't mind
I don't mind

Your eyes fill with tears as you look down at your hands. "I can't go on much longer.." You whisper. "The kkrang have been hunting me mercilessly ever since I escaped."
Spike feels his heart shatter right then and there and he grabs your chin softly yet firmly and forces you to look at him.
"Hey." He says. "You can get through it. I'll help you."

And I know she's capable of anything, it's riveting
But when you wake up she's always gone, gone, gone!

Your eyes widen at the large turtle. "R-really?" You say. Spike smiles softly. "Really."

In the night she hears him calling
In night she's dancing to relieve the pain

You and Spike meet up on that same rooftop every night to hang out and you eventually become very close. You'd been loyal to Spike, never once ditching him, but you always disappeared at sunrise.

She'll never walk away (I don't think you understand)

Meanwhile, the guys and mutanimals had seen drastic changes in his mood and attitude. He was always cruel before, but now he seemed like the happiest Mutant alive.

He sand a song when he did it
He was cold and so unforgiving
Now she dances to the song on the minute
Yeah, all the time
All the time

One night you and Spike were sitting together on the rooftops, him shooting nervous glances at you every so often. He was madly in love with you and he was going to tell you tonight.

And I know she's capable of anything
It's riveting
But when you wake up she's always gone, gone, gone!

"(Y/N)?" Spike says. "Yes?" You turn your head to look at him curiously. 'It's now or never.' He thinks to himself. "I've... liked you for a long time now and..." "And...?" You persist.

In the night she hears him calling
In the night she's dancing to relieve the pain

"And, I was wondering if..." "Yes?" You say leaning closer to him.

She'll never walk away

"If...you'd like to be my..girlfriend?" He says. In that moment your lips touch and Spike smiles hugely. You look at him and smile your, as he calls it, moonbeam smile. "Yes.." You whisper.
You stand and Spike notices the sun peeking over the horizon. When he looks back at where you were you're gone.

I don't think you understand...
