Chapter Three – Dream Big
Trisha’s P.O.V.
“Justin” I moaned.
“What?” he asked tugging on my hand to go faster.
“Tell me where you’re taking me” I pleaded shuffling my feet.
“Don’t be so stubborn, plus it’s a surprise okay?” he said chuckling.
“I don’t like you anymore” I huffed.
“I love you too” he replied rolling his eyes at me.
“Ready to go?” Pattie asked when we arrived at the car.
“Yes” Justin said at the same time that I said “No”.
“Okay what’s going on here?” she asked looking from me to Justin.
“He won’t tell me where we’re going” I said crossing my arms.
“I think that’s the point of a surprise…” Pattie trailed of raising her eyebrows at me.
“Still” I said stubbornly, “I want to know”.
“Well you’ll find out soon enough” Justin said opening the back door, “now get in”.
I glared at him but got in all the same. He closed the door behind me then got into the front seat. Pattie did the same then started up the car.
I watched the scenery pass by my window and smiled to myself at all the familiar places that used to be my home.
“What are you smiling at?” Justin asked having had turned in his seat.
“Nothing in particular” I said turning to him. He stared back at me then turned back around. I rolled my eyes at the back of his head then took my phone out.
Why can’t you just tell me? I typed then sent it to Justin. I looked up to see him fiddling with his pockets obviously looking for his phone. He smirked then proceeded to type.
After a few hard moments my phone buzzed so I unlocked it.
Don’t be so impatient + we’re nearly there x
I groaned then slumped back against my seat closing my eyes. I hate surprises.

“Okay I’ll drop you here cause there’s no space to park under where you’re going” Pattie said killing the engine.
“And we are going to…” I said promptly.
“Kill you a little more with not telling you” Justin cut in with a grin.
“You are so annoying” I said through my teeth. I opened the door then turned to Pattie, “bye”.
“Bye guys, have fun” she said smiling.
“Will do” Justin said climbing out. I followed his example then shut the door behind me.
Pattie started the car up again then drove off with a wave. I waved back then turned to Justin frowning.
