"I am going to die of hunger if I don't sit down now and eat" I said through my teeth staring at the packed cafeteria.
"Hey there's a table down there" Wicky said pointing somewhere to the right.
My eyes landed on the free table and I sprinted to it. I crashed in one of the two seats as a blonde that I recognised got to the table too.
"Damn it" he cursed turning away.
"Sorry" I called as he started to back away.
"Don't worry Hannah's friend" he said turning to face me.
I groaned, "why d'you call me that? I'm not even her friend".
"Don't you know her?" he asked confused.
"Yes I know her cause last year we run a whole scheme on how to get her with Kyle" I said pouring ketchup on my chips.
"Oh him, they broke up ages ago" he said pulling up another seat as Wicky came over and sat in the other.
"Hi" she said.
"Hey, I'm Aiden. Aiden Riley, Hannah Moore's half brother" so that was his name, Aiden.
"Wicky" she answered with a smile.
"Why'd they break up?" I asked.
"Oh, same reason they did the first time. Hannah's a player, not a commitment person" Aiden said taking a bite of his own sandwich.
"Oh."
"Aiden!" I looked up to see one of the jocks waving at him.
"On my way!" Aiden called back, "I'll see you two around" he said with a dazzling smile and left.
"Isn't he like so hot?" Wicky said straight away when he was out of ear shot.
"You have a boyfriend Wicky" I said disapprovingly.
"Yeah, but you don't" she said casually.
"What?"
"You're single, why not go for him? He seems nice, and did I mention he's so hot?"
"Yes, I think you did" I said with a fake smile.
Could I fall for someone else? Or is it still too early?
"I know what you're thinking Trisha, but a new guy would really make you feel better, he could mend your heart."
"I don't know if I'm ready."
"Well get to know him and then decide."
I rolled my eyes at her and turned back to my food.
"Oh by the way as we are indirectly talking about Justin" I glared at her but she ignored me, "he's coming over Saturday."
