Harry Potter and the Next Generation

On September 1st I got out of bed and ran down stairs.  It was finally the day I went back to Hogwarts.  My mom was cooking and my dad was doing paperwork.  All of a sudden I got a suprise hug from my favorite cousin. 

"Hello Albus," I said.

"Hello Rose.  So nice to see you here."

"How is it nice to see me here?  I live here."

"I was joking," Albus said. 

"Rosie, is it OK if Aunt Ginny takes you to the train station.  Harry and I are busy with work and your mom has to go into work early today," dad said. 

"Hi Uncle Harry."

"Hello Rose," Harry said.  Uncle Harry was doing work on something.  Then I looked at dad and he was doing the same kind of paperwork.  All I could think of is why are they doing paperwork?  They never do paperwork.  They are both the co-heads of the Auror Department in the Ministry of Magic.  They are always out in the world doing something the normal law enforcement from the ministry can't.  It was really weird. 

Soon Albus, James, Teddy and I were all going to the train station.  Lily and Hugo were at Grandma Molly's house.  They love it there.  When we got there Teddy hugged Aunt Ginny and left to go find Victorie.  A little bit after Teddy left, James went to go find Alice Longbottom.  Everybody except her knew that James liked here.  Then it was just Aunt Ginny, Albus, and I. 

"OK, so I have to go now for quidditch practice.  Make sure you two both get on the train on time.  Do you guys have all of your stuff," Aunt Ginny asked.

"Yes mom.  For the millionth time we have everything," Albus replied. 

"Good.  Well don't forget to wright.  I love you guys," she said. 

"Love you too mom."

"Bye Aunt Ginny."

"Bye.  Stay safe," she said as she left.

Then I bumped into Astoria Malfoy.

"Sorry Mrs. Malfoy," I said.

"No problem and call me Astoria please," she said.

"OK."

"Hey where is Scorpius," Albus asked. 

"He is talking to his father.  Why don't you two wait here for Scorpius and then you guys can get on the train together," Astoria replied. 

"Cool.  Thanks Mrs. Malfoy.  I mean Astoria," Albus said. 

"No problem.  Just let me go and get him."

Astoria left and seconds later she returned with Scorpius and his dad Draco.  Scorpius looked very funny because he was wearing the most mismatched muggle outfit ever.  Then his dad looked even funnier with his pin stripped, green suit. 

"So shall we get on the train," Scorpius asked. 

"Yes!  We need to get on the train and find a great compartment," Albus said. 

So soon enough Scorpius said goodbye to his parents and we got on the train.  When we get on the train and started searching for a compartment, we passed James and Freddie.  They were messing around with prank stuff that Freddie got from his dad, George Weasley.  Then we passed Dominique and Louie's compartment.  Louie was trying to get Dominique to let him do her hair.  Her red hair was sometimes worse than mine and mine is bad.  Then Victorie and Teddy entered Dominique's and Louie's compartment and started yelling at them for fighting.  Victorie can be scary when she is yelling at you because she does it in French.  She learned it from her mom, Fleur.  Teddy was just in the corner and laughing his head off.  He always found Victorie yelling at her brother and sister funny. 

A few minutes later we found a compartment by ourselves and sat down in it.  Then a few seconds later the Scammanders came in and Lacey followed. 

"Hey will you look at this," Lorcan started. 

"There is a person from every house in here," Lyssander finished. 

"Will you two stop finishing each others sentences.  It is starting to get annoying," Lacey said. 

"Never," the twins said in unison.

"You two are idiots," I said. 

"I'm sorry but if we were idiots," Lyssander started. 

"Then we wouldn't be in Ravenclaw now would we," Lorcan finished.

"You can be an idiot and be in Ravenclaw at the same time.  It's not like Rose said you were stupid," Scorpius said. 

"Ooh Sassy," they said in unison, again. 

Everybody in the compartment laughed.  Then the train started moving.  I was finally going back to Hogwarts.  I just really hope that nothing weird happens this year than it did last year.
