Luke's POV:
I have been thinking of what it would be like to have a family. Of course I had my parents and other relatives, but I mean, I want like a child. I feel like I could help and care for it. Who knows? Maybe I would be a great father.
"Hey guys. I have to talk to you about something serious"
"Sure mate. What's up?" Ashton said as Calum and Michael sat on the couch with open hearts ready for what I was about to say.
"I want to adopt a child."
The room was dead silent. I saw the expressions on their faces. It was a mix of confusion and shock.
"What? Why?" Michael asks in a calm but strict tone.
"I have been thinking for a while and I think it would help me and learn to be more responsible."
"That sounds great!" Calum said with excitement in his tone.
Ashton and Michael were still shocked but went with it.
"We will go tomorrow." Ashton said and Michael nodded.
One day later
Emily's POV:
I was sitting in the corner of the orphanage, the smell of rotting wood and mold filling my nose when I herd a knock at the door. My heart raced with excitement. We rarely had visitors due to the lack of people in the neighborhood.
