Luke's POV:
We went to go see Emily and I was barely holding myself together. I pulled my sleeve over my bandage to hide it from Emily. She was able to come home but we had another doctors appointment next Monday to just check up and plan for the next session of chemo therapy. We told Emily what happened and about the cancer and she cried her eyes out while I held her head to my chest trying to stay strong for her.
"You will fight this Emily. I'll be by your side the whole time." I said
"I love you daddy"
When we got to the house I brought her to my room and I cuddled and sang her a song as she fell asleep in my chest. I didn't let go of her for the whole night.
