I am so excited. I am apart of the dread fam myself, so to see him join as well is really cool.
But, whenever it's Justin, nothing is ever just "good".
Critics are calling this " cultural appropriation." It basically means taking something from a culture that is not your own. The black community is known and wrongfully stereotyped for dreadlocks all the time.
This isn't the first instance of Justin having a commonly black hairstyle.

Another thing people are mad about is the double standard. Zendaya also had dreads for a time, but she got completely slammed for them. One person even said that they "smelled like weed". She gave a very stong answer to this comment.
That is a really good point. I can't get into it without being biased though.

It's funny how our baby is apparently sparking a national conversation. However, I hope he doesn't have any controversies worse than this.
