Everything was just brilliant since that day. The mirror vanished without any trace. Me and Jessica became the best of friends and I wasn't picked on at school anymore.
"Hiya, Nik, coming or not? We're going to be late," Jess asked.
"Be there in a sec."
I knew I didn't have to hurry because Jessica was going to be there for me whether I like it or not.
Friends don't go anywhere.
