------------------------------------------> Tom Felton is so HAWT. -drools- ;)

(Cassiel's POV)

"Thanks for showing me the way, Ced,"

Cassiel said to him before turning to the corner.

“I’ll see you later, beautiful,” he said with a lopsided smile.

She rolled her eyes at him. Cassiel didn’t mind Cedric’s flirty ways anymore. After talking to him for a bit, she begun liking him. She considered Cedric as a friend now.

She glanced at her wristwatch and saw that she was already fifteen minutes late to her Divinations class in the Astronomy tower. She begun to run but she accidentally bumped into someone.

“Ow, watch where you’re going,” a venomous voice hissed at her.

“Sorry, I – “

“Oh, it’s you,”

She looked up to the see the smirking handsome face of Draco Malfoy. Cassiel never liked Malfoy. He left a bad impression on her the first time they met.

“What does that mean?” asked Cassiel.

“Nothing. Where were you heading?”

“The Astronomy Tower. I have Divinations with Professor Trelawney,”

“And by the looks of it, Divinations already started without you. Trelawney? You mean, that crazy bug? My father told me about her. This place has really gone to the dogs,”

“We’ll I gotta go,” she replied.

“Don’t bother. It’s the firstclass right? She’d probably just ‘foresee’ someone in your class dying,” Malfoy said with a sneer.

“Dying?” she asked wide-eyed. Cassiel was afraid of that topic more than anything else.

“Yes, it’s an awful class. Full of omens and tea,” he said with a disgusted face.

“What class do you have?”

“Oh, nothing much just a few subject course here and there. But I’m gonna skip,”

“Skip?”

“You know, not attend, cut, play hooky,”

“I know what skip means. What I want to know is what are you going to do instead?” she replied impatiently.

“I dunno. I don’t want to hang out with Crabbe and Goyle. Maybe, I’d just talk a walk in the grounds?”

“Can I come?” Cassiel asked suddenly. When she realized what she done, Cassiel felt ashamed for her brashness.

Malfoy smiled genuinely. “Of course, you can. Have you seen the dungeons?”

“No,”

“You should. They’re under the Great Lake so they have this green lighting. They sparkle like crazy. The girls seem to like them,”

“Like emeralds?”

“Yeah. Wanna see?”

Cassiel nodded. Malfoy took her hand in his. “C’mon. We better hurry. We don’t want that Filch to catch us,” They begun running sneakily through the corridors. Cassiel changed her mind about Malfoy, he seemed to be a great guy if you spend some time to get to know him. She can’t seem to stop laughing at Malfoy and his jokes. He has a very wicked sense of humor.

When they reached the place, Malfoy let go of her hand.

“After you,” he bowed before her gallantly. She giggled uncharacteristically.

“What a gentleman,” she chided playfully.

“I try to be,” he gestured for her to enter the chambers.

When she did, Cassiel gasped.

It was one of the most beautiful things she ever saw. The long hallway is surrounded by sparkly green lights that shone like real emeralds. The whole place was amazing. The place has a rather peaceful and romantic ambience to it.

“And Slytherins get to have this to themselves?” she asked incredulously.

“Well, we don’t normally show this to the other houses,”

Cassiel eyed him suspiciously. “And why am I an exception?”

“There’s always an exception to every rule,” he answered with a sheepish grin.

“This is really incredible,” Cassiel started twirling around. The green lights spilling all over her. She could feel Malfoy watching her but she was having so much fun that she barely cared if she looked like a child in front of him.

“Yes, you are,”

“What? I didn't catch what you said,”

“Nothing. Do you want to see the chambers or not?” Malfoy demanded.

“I’d love to,” she said.

“Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” He ordered.

He pulled her arm so suddenly that Cassiel lost her balance. She fell on top of him – her face inches away from his. She looked at his blue eyes and got lost in it. It seemed like ages before someone interrupted them with a cough.

“Ehem, I see the blondes are having fun,”

They both turned to where the voice was coming from. A familiar looking girl stood by the door. Cassiel scrambled to get up but Malfoy pulled her down.

“Ignore her,” he whispered.

“Am I interrupting something?” the hard-faced Slytherin girl asked feigning innocence.

“Shut up. Leave us alone, Parkinson,”

“But I’ve got something for you,” Pansy Parkinson said sweetly.

“Not now, Parkinson,”

“But Draco, it's important,” she insisted.

“And why is she still on top of you?” she continued glaring menacingly at Cassiel.

“Because I let her,” he said coldly.

“She’s not even one of us. She’s a bit –“

“Watch what you’re saying, Parkinson. You’ll regret that later,” Malfoy threatened.

Pansy Parkinson winced. Cassiel finally managed to disentangle herself to Malfoy. She stood up, brushing the dust in her robes.

“I think I’ve gotta go, Drake. See you later,” she said before running away, embarrassed.

(When she was out of earshot)

“Drake? DRAKE? Who does that lofty girl think she is calling you such a preposterous nickname?”

“I told her she can call me whatever she wants,”

“So you’re into pet names now? What do you call her? The pug-faced bitch?”

“No, that’s what I call you,” he said leaving a dumbfounded Pansy Parkinson behind.
