Second or Third year Tsukishima will probably use his awful attitude to see if the first years or can withstand pressure, or how they handle harsh words. This would help to keep in mind who's stable under pressure and who needs help. Yamaguchi is there to help in case the person's confidence was crushed or in case Tsukishima goes too far. He'll help them get back together.
