they were best friends
inseparable,
they promised to stay
by eachothers side
forever
and that was believable,
until
she came
and stole her attention.
at first it was just the few conversations
...but then it became inside jokes,
where they joking about her?
no, she wouldn't.
the secrets she shared to her were no
longer just between them.
she knew them now,
because she was her friend.
she shouldn't get jealous,
she was allowed to have other friends
but now she felt she was disappearing
slowly slowly slowly
and then POOF
she no longer held claim to the title of
best friend
but she would always be hers,
she would always keep the promises
they kept to eachother
even if she didn't.
