Sounds like a pretty normal thing any human being would do on a daily basis.
Unlike him, he prefers to stay quiet, afraid diamonds will spill from in between his dry cracked lips.
But if you are lucky, he will spill some diamonds for you.
Only if your lucky though.
(Which most people aren't.)
