Take Off

The Walking Dead season one was a complete success, no one knew what a phenomenon it would become and everyone involved were thrilled with the outcome. Norman and the cast were touring around the country doing chat shows and appearances, leaving Louise back at home.

Louise and Norman missed eachother terribly, they had to make do with phone calls, texts and occasional phone sex.

Liam came bounding in from school and ran to the kitchen where Louise was making some tea. "Mom everyone thinks Daryl is the most bad ass character on the show and cant believe he is my step dad!" He grins from ear to ear. Laughing Louise reassured him that he didnt have to call him his step dad if he didnt want to "mom...did you not hear me...Daryl Dixon is my step dad...how cool is that!!!" He beamed and went upstairs to change before soccer practice.

Louise was happy, Norman had moved in and they made the spare bedroom Mingus's room for when he stayed although the boys usually fell asleep in the same room but Louise wanted Mingus to have his own space as well should he want it.

James had been behaving himself as well, he rented a place in Florida, Louise hadnt had anymore surprise visits, just phonecalls and messages regarding having Liam.

Her makeup work was gaining recognition with several magazines and films showing an interest. She had received an offer to work on New York fashion week but it would fall on the week Norman would be home from promoting, she hadnt given a definite answer yet as she just wanted to see Norman.

Liam went off with friends to soccer and Louise kicked back with a bath and book when the phone rang, it was Norman. "Hey baby! How are you?" "All the better for hearing your voice" she smiled, "i just got back to the hotel, im shattered, the cast have gone on to restaurant but i just wanted to get an early night and speak to you. How is Liam?" He asks. Sinking into the sofa to get comfortable Louise tells him about what they have been up to and that she has been offered work for NYFW "thats fantastic babe! You have to do it its a great opportunity!" He told her, she could tell he was smiling "but its the week you get back here, i miss you so much i dont think i can wait another week" she sounded sad, Norman was the best thing that happened to her in a very long time and loved every minute she was with him. "Lou we have managed the last two weeks we can do another and just think when you get home we have a few weeks off with eachother before we are back for season two" Norman reassured her that everything will be fine and him and Liam can have a 'bachelor pad' while she was away, this made her laugh. "You spoke to Mingus? He was skyping Liam yesterday," she asked. "Yea he is all good, missing me and you two i think but he is good, listen i should go get some rest ill text you later. I love you" "i love you too" she hung up, laying back on the sofa she thought back to when they first said they loved eachother for the first time....

"This is a perfect night" Louise said cuddling into Norman on the sofa, Liam and Mingus were upstairs playing Call Of Duty. "Love watching films with you" Norman said kissing her head. "Cant wait for you to move in properly with me tomorrow, i know you stay here most of the time but i cant wait for this to be officially 'our place' " louise smiled. "And i want Mingus to have the spare room as his own, i know the boys get on but that way they can both have their space should they want it, this will be his home too, well second home i guess" she added looking to Norman. He couldnt take his eyes off her, she had taken on another mans son and not batted an eyelid, Mingus adored her as well. "Lou...i love you" he said and placed a kiss quickly on her cheek awkwardly. Had he said it too soon? Everything had moved so quick with them, losing himself in his wandering thoughts and regretting wearing his heart on his sleeve he was cut off by Louise grabbing him into a hug "i love you too! They checked on the boys who were still engrossed in the their game, and made their way to the bedroom, sleeping together for the first time after declaring their love for eachother

Coming out of her trance as Liam came home, they had dinner and watched some tv before going to bed.

The next day, Liam was staying at his dads for the weekend. Louise was having a night out with Mia and Joshua. "Oh give this to your dad please honey" Louise called to Liam before he got out the door, handing him Liam's grade card to see. Liam kissed his mom on the cheek and ran out the door.

Putting on black jeans and a white blouse she wore her hair curly with black louboutin's that Norman bought her. She met Mia and Joshua in the bar. "About time what kept you?" Joshua yelled from the bar causing people to look round, he could be so loud at times. "Hey! Im on time! Just you two cant say no to alcohol!" Louise teased in reply.

The trio laughed and joked in the bar and Mia and Joshua both encouraged Louise to take the NYFW job. "Think of all the freebies you will get! " Mia squealed. Looking at the time Joshua suggested "come on, its closing soon, shall we head back to your place?" ,Looking at Louise she nodded "come on then guys" she waved the pair up and they toppled home, slightly worse for wear.

Flicking on Louise's tv, Mia scanned the channels for Jimmy Fallon. "There is something very sexy about this man" she muttered to herself but Joshua and Louise heard and pulled the same grossed out face at eachother. "Shit Lou look its your boyfriend" Louise came in with more wine and noticed it was Norman on the tv. "Oh i miss that face!" She whined playfully, "ssshhh shhh!!" She made the pair be quiet so she could listen to the tv.

Jimmy Fallon was asking Norman some questions when Norman mentioned Louise in an answer about what he does when he 'isnt wielding the crossbow' he spoke about her so naturally and wasnt awkward about mentioning Louise when they hadnt had much media attention about it, in fact it was really close family and friends who knew.
